It makes the news when it is news. It is news when a political organization takes money donated and spend on something like it was allegedly spent on here.

It is especially news worthy when said organization represents that they are and those who presumably have donated the funds are explicitly against such things as those it likely supported in this latest fiasco.

This kind of story will make news because it's always the Republicans who like to presume to force their "high morals" down our throats. If the GOP embraced strip clubs and women's rights better than they do maybe this won't be newsworthy someday :dunno:

Never supported going into Iraq and wasting life and money there. I have always supported (as did virtually the whole world) going into Afghanistan...Any post that I've ever made on those two wars reflect that.

seems to me its mostly the dems passing laws that make us all conform to some moral issue.
like smoking, recycling, hate crimes,affirmative action, environmental laws, ect ect.

Theoretically had "an" administration committed the kind of effort being undertaken in Afghanistan now by "another" administration we'd be much closer...if not all together done with routing the command of Al Quaeda's capacity to attack America, her interests and her allies.

We'd be closer if not altogether done with routing the command of the Taliban and their ability to reconstituted and offer AQ remnants safe haven from which to train and plan for their next attack on US.

For no political party apparatus is free from corruption, don't kid yourself, put yourself into the shoes of a politician, do you have any idea that the politicians' greatest difficulty is staying squeaky clean ? Do you understand that there are a plethora of temptations that confront our political figures on a day to day basis ? You don't, do you ?
