Rep is important to some people, the guys in the ID section especially, they help out when we see a badass babe and don't know who she is, their there to answer within seconds kinda like squirrels storing nuts for the winter, and then there's the comedian's, guys in the talk & funny pix section, that are so funny or quick witted that they practically just shit it out, then there are the women, OSCM's, they are the babes that actually spend time to chat with us fans, they don't need the rep but we give it to em cuz its our precious'z, then we have the negative rep which is for the trolls, lame fux, idiots or the religious conspiracy theorists, they love that shit, its like a kick straight to the balls brings a tear to the eye and that funny feeling in your stomach, Also there is the rare few that get rep for good posts such as breaking news or great links of babes or the occasional fuck the system rant, i'm in my own category kinda like Neo in the Matrix, but Dude its like this, a great man once told me, "you have to earn it!"

Don't worry about it so much and it'll come, but you need to post more to improve your chances.
As to the ID section, I'm not sure. Some guys just join to get an ID and then leave I think, (until they want another one I suppose). It sucks they don't leave ID'ers rep though, it seems the least they could do.
