The new Frontier Pursuits update for Red Dead Online dropped today. You can choose to be a Bounty Hunter, a Collector, a Trader or all 3 if you have the gold. I chose the path of the Bounty Hunter. This is my character with my new horse, Madison Ivy.:clap:

Personally, I'm going for outfits, horses, gun belts, weapons, a dog for your camp with the Trader role. Pretty much same as GTA Online. Well, not exactly, I usually just buy cars in that game.

Yeah, the update gave us the option to have up to 10 horses in our stable from the previous 5. It's probably going to end up like GTA Online, with each update giving us more space for more horses.

Absolutely! You have a full lobby of players but you don't know where any of them are on the map because they only show up on your radar when they're in a close proximity. They show up as a blue dot/marker and at least with my experience, players largely leave each other alone or are friendly, unlike GTA Online. Of course, there are hostile players and they show up as a red dot/marker. They become red when other players that they've killed "pressed charges" against them to let everyone know that this player is hostile and they receive a bounty. They can pay the bounty off but if they don't and they accumulate a high bounty, npc bounty hunters go after them. Once I reach rank 12 as a bounty hunter, I can go after them if they reach a $20 bounty. Not likely, because have to really be causing mayhem to get it that high, but still.

In the sessions I've been in the last few weeks, every day, I've only been killed maybe 3 times. I usually press charges if I'm doing something. You could also "parley" if they keep griefing you and that allows you to not be killed by them for 10 minutes. Hopefully with that, they would be bored enough to go do something else. There's also the option to just find another session.

I know everyone's experience is different but like I said, for me players have been largely friendly. I was coming out of clearing a gang hideout to find a guy waiting for me next to my horse. He then ran up to me, waved hi and got on his horse and left. I've had people ride their horse along side me and then help me out killing npc ambushes. If you're doing some missions, like escort missions, the game will tell you that players can attack you or steal your cart etc.... but I haven't had that happen to me. As always though, keep your guard up. It is the wild west after all.

having a serious issue,need help if anyone can lend a hand or provide advice.

doing the Exotics tasks, Duchesses and other animals ... on the 2nd level i need to get 7 lady slipper orchids i was able to get 6 ...following a bunch of videos online and even reading reddit posts and such.

i can not get the 7th one i need to move to next level... i slept days, did other missions, saved, reloaded saves, stole a train and died. did a whole bunch of things and cannot get these orchids to respawn.

did anyone else have this issue, is it a glitch? does anyone have recommendations? how can you get 100% completion in the game if i can't get past level 2 of a 6 or 7 level task/challenge?

this has been almost 3 days now of trying to get that last one.

How many orchids did you collect? And I mean in total. Did you collect one "by accident" before you got this challenge? Because orchids are finite plants - which means they do not regrow.

Please someone correct me if otherwise!

Only 6. Never picked any random flowers for no reason. The ones at the logging camp aren't there, because those guys have built camp over it, the one outside the cave wasn't there either. The only others I see are in blackwater, which I haven't got to in the story yet, I'm still putzing around st denis. I tried to go grab one from there but being wanted dead or alive I didn't last very long. Maybe that's my only option. Just not sure, without spoilers, how long until we move camp again, i just crashed the trolley car in st Denis.

Ok I just looked at my satchel & it now says im carrying 5 of 15. Although I know I grabbed 6. Fuck this is so frustrating.
I have a interactive map that I update rdr2map.com & I have checked off as 'found' 6 lady slipper. The one in hanging dog ranch & 5 around the area of the trapper in big valley.

posted this on the 14th - just a day ago after playing many other quests and such, i made my way back to the areas of Lady Slipper Orchids and they were there. fuck me over 2 weeks of playing before they respawned.

i can't win with this game! i have 144 of 144 cigarette cards yet, still have 1 set unsent via mail, it's not even an option to choose. so that leave 1 full set of Stars of the Stage cards unsent and the full task uncompleted.
