Read/Unread posts

^Well, I think you might well be wrong Sir. There is sometimes (often) a direct correlation between the Database and the Browser (cache). Any corruption can mean new posts are read as old/read posts. IMO.

Right, and where would that corruption come from? Errors from the database. Browsers have been built to be fault tolerant, so that if there is an error, they make the user aware of it, or at the very least, they behave similarly. If this isn't happening to everyone, it's a DB issue.

This is probably a lost cause at this point. I think you might want to brush up on how cookies, databases, and browsers work.
