Raspberry Pi / Retro Pie / Retro Game Emulators

Little Red Wagon Repairman

Girls Can't Wrestle
Any of you guys into retro gaming emulators? I am thinking about getting a Raspberry Pi 3, downloading the most current Retro Pie, and installing the game roms so I can get a complete catalog of Nintendo and Sega games from all their systems. I'm not good with technical stuff but there are lots of tutorials on YouTube. Anybody have this type of setup?

I was thinking of doing the same actually with a Rasberry Pi, just never have time to get started on it.

I've had NES and SNES emus on my Galaxy S3 for years but prefer something a little more console like with a bigger screen and controller.

There are claims that it is easy to format your Raspberry Pi 3 but still looks too complicated for me. I see people on eBay selling 128 GB SD Cards loaded with RetroPie and 12,000 games installed for plug in and play. Here's one eBay ad.
