Is it possible to play a game on a vista pc if the game only says it works for windows xp?

I have a game from 2006 (< I guess) and it only says Windows 2000 and XP but nothing about vista.

That's what I noticed also. Some of them will work ok and others won't. You might try searching online some programs have a patch that will let them work better. Also I think Vista has a mode where you can try and operate the program under the conditions of a previous addition of windows. You can try that, but that doesn’t always work either.

One of the biggest problems I have found is that a lot of old drivers won't work with it without being updated (if there is an update at all). My printer went out a while ago, but if it didn't it's old enough that I have a feeling that it wouldn't have worked with Vista as is.
