Nope, saxophones weren’t around in ancient Persia—they weren’t invented until the 1840s by Adolphe Sax in Belgium. Ancient Persian music did feature instruments like the ney (a reed flute), harps, lutes, and various drums, but the saxophone definitely wasn’t one of them.
