It got warm the past few days and most of the snow is gone now. There is more bare ground than snow covered ground at my location. If it stays this warm another day almost all the snow will be gone. I don't remember January coming in with it like that.

i opened up the windows to air out the house today it gets so stuffy with the windows closed for so long...it's about 45 which is cold for people around (including my gf) here but having lived in iowa where negative temperatures occur i know 45 is not so cold...i've found that when your nose hairs are freezing you know without question it's cold
