Dementia is a hard way to slowly drift out of this world. Just 2018 my godfather finally died, after a long, slow path of this terrible illness.
But Terry Jones had a fantastic career, and left so much gems of his work for generations to come, even creating some scenes that kind of made it into common lingo.
He seemed to have been a very lovely man, and I shall miss him.

Oh, ****. Not Mr Creosote!
Two down, three to go. In case you haven't seen the Netflix special about Monty Python, that wasn't poor form. They joke about Graham Chapman's death and their own mortality all the time. What's great is that his entire career is documented and the stories of their antics will live on. Everyone who's anyone has read my thread about dealing with my **********'s death from dementia a few years back. It's grueling for everyone involved and unless the afflicted has a well documented life most of those great memories die with them. I could see some of the absent mindedness in the special I mentioned and the melancholy the other surviving Pythons felt.
So long, Terry. We hardly knew ye.

The worst part of Dementia is:
As you morew and more lose more and more parts of your old personae, your ******, that has to deal with more and more demanding change of habits and erratic behaviours make your ****** begin to partly despise you at times, when you, as an example, walk out of your home, maybe even in underwear, and roam the streets of your city, or when you are, already in a home for people with dementia, because you can't be cared for by your wife, who can't guard you 24/7, and you begin to walk into other patients rooms, or you walk around in pants, full of your ****, it gets so hard to still see beyond this and realize, it is not yyou that does this, it is the Dementia
In a way, I was glad, when my godfather died. His ********* and his new wife had begun to fight over petty things, one of them mad at her, because now the monthly 500 Euros support he still paid her were gone, and so on.
