Question for conservatives.

Hopefully, many of you know me by now. I'm no liberal in the grand sense. I'm for small government, the 2nd Amendment, personal responsibility and I believe that the Constitutional government was designed to protect us from government, not enforce government authority.

Yeah, I'm anti-war, anti-drug war and think women should be able to get abortions and gays should be able to marry ( although I don't think marriage should be a government matter). I'm not with you guys on everything, but I am on a lot of shit.

SO, that being said, can any conservatives explain why Sean Hannity blowing smoke up "Dr." Laura's ass for 15 minutes isn't entirely abominable?

It was like watching the junior high school teacher (that everybody hates) make out with the teacher's pet (that everybody wants to beat up). Really, both of these monsters think you're vile just because you look at porn and fuck somebody other than your closeted gay husband. How can these people still be relevant in any modern political culture?

Didn't see it, but it sounds similar to when Hannity interviewed Palin :1orglaugh
He behaved like a fawning, drooling middle schooler trying to hide a boner

Because people are stupid and they don't want to think about things, they just want to hear something that sounds like it is a powerful message and causes an emotional reaction.

Just think about the entire platform of the Republican Party. If they believed in smaller government then why would they want to be put into political office? That really doesn't make any sense. If there were less government, then it would mean less Republicans in office. Of course they'd say that if they weren't there then Democrats would be, so they might as well become the government that they and their voters don't want.

They say that they believe in the Constitution, but then they say that people shouldn't do things because it goes against their religion. they bash the media for expressing viewpoints that they disagree with. I could go on...

It's circular logic. It doesn't get you anywhere, but really that is the whole point.
