Genuinely curious and not trying to be offensive in any way.
Why is it when a democrat/liberal is elected or gets popularity, I hear all this talk about them being the anti-Christ. But when an authoritative figure on the right gets power, all that religious talk gets fully silent. Or you even hear that this guy is almost a religious figure.
Is there something in Christian doctrine that says Democrats are just inherently evil, and that the right wing is like God's philosophy?
