I love reading the member feedback on this topic... Successful male performers are some of the hardest working talent on any set you go to. It takes far more than stamina and sex appeal to stay relevant in the adult industry for female, male, and TS performers alike. I love what I do, I have extraordinary sex as part of my job description... but that's only one part of a much larger and more complex position. I wouldn't discourage anyone from giving it a shot, but I would suggest you do your homework.

I'll never forget my first time in front of the camera - maybe I'll find that video up for old-times sake.


I had been shooting a lot of amateur content but was having trouble finding guys that could perform. Most of my crew was new and we were shooting at a rented location. The shoot was a girl-girl-boy shoot and the scheduled male "talent" (one of the girl's fuck-buddies) showed up so stoned he was useless. He tried but after an hour of him trying to get a boner (cudos to the models for all her patience), we still had nothing. I was about to send them all home unpaid, when the stupid fuck said "if you thinks it so simple, let's see you do it"!

Fuck - I was tested as my girlfriend was working in the industry and it only made sense. The girls had already spent all the money they were going to earn that day so they were pleading me to do it and my crew was teasing me for putting myself in such a predicament. Actually, the camera guy was my 24-year-old roommate and I would have used him but he wasn't tested - not to mention the fact that his wife would have killed us both - slowly and painfully

So - there I was, 40+ years old, with two young whipper-snappers giving me shit and daring me to fuck these two 18 and 19-year-old models and prove I could do it. No fucking warning, no fucking Viagra! Fuck.

It took a minute for me to force the fact that my roomate and some guy I didn't even know were judging my manhood while at the same time, filming it as proof of my masculinity (or not). Thank LurkingDirk (I've given up on God so I pray to him now), the two girls made it easy (which sadly isn't always the case).

To make a long story short - it ended with my first, and now almost famous, surprise facial from the spooning position. I'll never forget the way I felt after a successful first shoot - nor these unforgettably kind word from the model words after I jizzed all over her face:

"I don't know if I should be offended or..... but I want a towel!"

Partly due to the fact that the camera work was crappy, partly due to the fact that the camera guys were giving me shit during the video and partly due to the fact that the crew was laughing so hard after what she said, I've never taken the time to edit the video - maybe this thread will motivate me to dig it up.

Thank you all for the feedback, jinxy I wasnt ignoring the ladies at all but I just saw a bunch of dumb responses by trolls at first so I thought the thread was going to die because of it and nobody was going to take it seriously! I'll keep all of your thoughts in mind. Maybe i should take the internet route, either way eventully I want to do something in the industry!

papa thanks for the great post, I already knew it was a tough industry but some of the things you mentioned are something I wouldn't be comfortable with, for example being touched by the cameraman so he can have better balance, that would kill it for me, then again thats why I asked this question lol

Remember - I've been the poor bastard trying to balance on a bouncing bed - it helps to have people you are comfortable with on set as anything can happen.

Plotting with a friend to see if we can't make a blog about some of the funnier shit.

He didn't ask about females so Why would I bring that up. As for playing with females I sadly hadn't gotten to it with my site before Hubby and I had to close it. I have no doubt girls can be the same. When I was stripping girls didn't show up for work all the time. I have no doubt it's the same in porn.

Actually I've seen no difference in reliability based on sex - based on my limited experience, the guys can be as flaky as the girls - the industry has less tolerance for those of us with penises when it comes to being forgiven for late arrivals and no-shows - understandably so IMO.
