Well, it's honestly never happened to me or with me, but I do know that two or three of my girlfriends / friends have had it happen to them in the midst of having sex. They all seemed to agree that it was embarassing and somewhat nerve-wracking but funny. One was extremely disturbed and put off by it at first, but she eventually started to find it hilarious and used to joke about it with her husband who actually found it to be something of a turn-on.
I look at it as being on the same par as that 'smacking' / 'sucking' noise two bodies tend to make as flesh slaps against flesh when things start to really get going and heating up. I still get the giggles on the odd occasion when that happens to us ... it's just a weird-ass noise that our bodies make; no more disturbing than any other aspect of foreplay or sex.
