Re: Q&A With Me, Holly Rydem!

Since you aren't getting your meatloaf recipe I have a tea for you to try:

Rhubarb Tea

8 stalks rhubarb (cut into 3 inch pieces)
3 tea bags
3 quarts water
¾ cup sugar

Directions:
1. Place rhubarb into 3 quarts of water bring to boil reduce heat to a simmer; simmer for 1 hour.
2. Place tea bags in water the last 6 minutes.
3. Strain.
4. Place into a 2-quart pitcher and add sugar.
5. Chill in refrigrator; serve over ice.

Eat at Bob's

If I can get my hands on some rhubarb, I'll give it a try.

You really should do yourself a favour and try this meatloaf recipe. It's the best meatloaf in the world.

Ingredients

3 tablespoons olive oil
1 large zucchini, finely diced
1 red bell pepper, finely diced
1 yellow pepper, finely diced
5 cloves garlic, smashed to a paste with coarse salt
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, divided
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh thyme leaves
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves, plus more for garnish
1/2 pound ground pork
1/2 pound ground veal
1 pound ground beef chuck
1 cup panko (Japanese) bread crumbs
1/2 cup freshly grated Romano or Parmesan
1 cup ketchup, divided
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Heat the oil in a large saute pan over high heat. Add the zucchini, peppers, garlic paste, 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, and salt and pepper, to taste, and cook until almost soft, 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.

Whisk together the eggs and herbs in a large bowl. Add the meat, bread crumbs, cheese, 1/2 cup of the ketchup, 2 tablespoons of the balsamic vinegar, and the cooled vegetables and mix until just combined.

Mold the meatloaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Whisk together the remaining ketchup, balsamic vinegar, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl. Brush the mixture over the entire loaf. Bake the meatloaf for 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Well I hope it tastes just as good without the zucchini and peppers...

It's bitter shit. We always had it growing wild in my back yard. You have to really add copious amounts of sugar to make it tolerable. But you can make jam with it.

shit son, grow a pair. you can just pick it and chew it. you must be thinking of poison ivy.

I did pick it and chew it and eat it as a kid. It is a hardcore vegetable (???I think fruit) and grows in harsh climates pretty good like mine. The tea idea was pretty good. Also apple crisp exchange it for apple might be a winner but I've never tried.

Two big tv's, actually. :D
So...you drinking yet? If so, what? Boy I sure could use a girl like you right now to kick it for the big game. I have an old(er) school Trinitron but it is 42" and the Trinitrons were always known to be the best. Also have the best surround sound around. It might be a sausage fest here tonight though if the boys don't bring their lady friends or if I decide to get wasted since it is my night off. No bueno. :(

No, haven't started drinking yet... haven't even showered yet, actually lol. But I'll prolly be drinking some Cherry Three Olives and Bud Light tonight... or maybe Yuengling. Tell your friends to bring their girls and have their girls bring their friends haha. And definitely get wasted!

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I'll be back on my normal cam schedule starting tomorrow morning... with the exception of Tuesday because I got suckered into going to something with my boyfriend's mom and sister. But anyways, my schedule and myself can be found here: http://www.dirtylittleholly.cammodels.com

I am sorry you had to look up Piqua. It is painful enough to know the place exists, I know. I am pretty sure I am one of a handful of people here who is not a direct cousin to everyone else.
