People die eventually too. So by that logic we shouldn't have relationships because of the pain it gives us in the end. That's just dumb. Think about the great life we give our pets while they are with us.

Death is a part of life. It's sad a shit to lose a lifelong friend like an animal but all the happiness they give us during their lives is a powerful thing.

On topic, I will never have another pet, because of the devastation I felt when the last one had to be put down. I do not like crying like a little girl.

The first cat I ever had died when she was only 10 months old from a heart attack... while in my arms. Even after that, I still love having animals around to make them and myself happy.
