ps3 on 802.11n network

I need help. I am going to get a PS3, but I have recently found out that the PS3 will not connect to a 802.11n home network wirelessly with the built in reciever, and I would have it too far from my router for a cable connection. What do I do?

Since IEEE 802.11n is still in draft, and the vendors have a nasty habit of ignoring the specification (e.g., 802.11g is actually 22Mbps, not 54Mbps -- that's "Wireless-G"), you're going to run into issues.
Furthermore, check your "Wireless-N" access point (or low-end router) is actually supporting 802.11b/g, some have options to actually turn it of (and may for maximum performance reasons).

I second that.

I have a WRT150N at home, and all my 802.11b/g equipment works on it. I would try a ps3 if I had one, but if my 2006-01-01 beta vista WLAN drivers work on my new 802.11n access point I can't imagine a PS3 not working.
:2 cents:

xbox makes you pay for extra stuff (like network adapters, online "subscription", etc.) and all the 10 year olds on halo whine like bitches. a Also, I got it and it worked fine. thanks for the advice.
