because i just looked through both manuals that come with the system and cannot find how to play an IPOD that is hooked up to the PS3! am i stupid? or does it not play an IPOD? i can bring up the IPOD accessory in the PS3 menu but it says "no tracks available"
i have 1700 songs on my IPOD and it cant find and/or play any of them?!
WTF!????

It doesn't play my Zune either. I have to put in a CD or transfer my tracks to my external HDD. It also won't play certain video formats and you have to convert them.

You pretty much have to jailbreak your PS3 if you want to listen to your music from your mp3s.

that's cool im ok with that. i have all my cd's put away in a box buried somewhere in my basement or i would have just played the cd of the group i wanted to hear. that is the whole reason i asked,i have everything on the Ipod

The browser sucks...I can't connect my iPhone and it won't even let me use my credit card in the store. I have to buy points and type a stupid code in. But at least the commercials are funny. amirite?

This is the most annoying thing for me. It won't let me use my debit MasterCard even though I know for a fact that it accepts it.

I like having the convenience of getting the amount I need on my 360 but my PS3 says "Fuck You! Buy PSN cards!" The smallest amount they give is $20.:surprise:

The strange thing, Sony puts a hold on my bank account each time I try to enter my card just to see if it's valid. WTF!!!!

ya know, the new system update came out and i fiannly got around to DLing it. but, when the loading bar comes up on the tv, is doesnt fuckin budge. wont DL, which means i cant get on PSN, which means i cant play online. i cant ever DL the new black ops patch or levels without it. ive tried restarts and every other trick i know but nothin works

i had this problem a few times and i looked it up online.
i dont know the exact steps once the DL screen comes up BUT.......
apparantly u have to wait until the yellow light on the bottom left of the PS3 stops blinking then you hit or click yes to DL update.
