Problems accessing porn using IE on Vista laptop

I recently bought a Vista laptop and I've been having a lot of problems with my porn browsing. When I access TGP sites using IE and click on the images, my browser frequently hangs and I have to close it. I've had this problem lately with my old PC but not nearly as often. Is anyone familiar with this problem and know what I can do to stop it (i.e. is it from a browser setting, or something else running on the laptop)?
