Prisoners in UK to get the Vote

I have no objection to prisoners being allowed to vote as long as they do so by postal vote and are not allowed out of prison to goto the polling station.

Is somewhere outhere.
Why would a prisoner want to vote in the 1st place, when they are
banged up 27/7 :dunno:

Although it could be popular among the rapists,as for them it could be
like a freeones poll.Whereby all the MPs photo could be on the ballot and
then the jailbirds can pick out the one they want to fuck :D

another eu fucking directive! bananas anyone!!!!!!!!??????

:yahoo:

This shit reminds me of the time when I read a couple of years back that other EU rulings were brought forward for Britain to use. Cafes and Bars and Restaurants could only put their menus in latin. Farmers had to put toys in pig pens or face three months in jail. Shops not allowed to sell bent bananas. Kilos and not pounds and ounces. Thankfully common sense prevailed that time. And it should this time too.

Sadly, it is not. The EU has rules about what curve a cucumber has to have, per example and for ages you could not sell them if they were not bent as in regulations. This has just been undone in 2008. Still a lot of madness going on there.

Isn't there also regulations that say you can't call something feta cheese if it's not from greece or parmasean if it's not from parma? Or something like that?
