It's not often you come across a word you've never seen or heard of before. But thanks to SWTwo15, seems today's my lucky day!... love learning and discovering new things, both great and small.

Anyway, in case you haven't guessed it already, the word of the day is cloying, which after looking it up, discovered it means - "excessively sweet or sentimental"
A google search returned 7 million hits (more than I expected... so perhaps not as rare a word as initially thought).
Anyone else familiar with this word??
