I am aware that there are two different opinions on this issue.

Some people think that it is ok to go to war and kill people because it is not murder.

Some people think that killing and murder do not differ from each other because the result is the same in the both cases.

I think that is the 'beauty' of the christian religions: You can always be forgiven, especially if you can make it about definding Jesus.

And as te Magic Book of Fairytales allows for pretty much all interpretations, you just need a pastor to paint it the way you like it.

No. There are not 2 different opinions on this. There is an incorrect translation and a correct translation. This is not a matter of guesswork or opinion - the languages involved are not dead languages.

Teaching is wrong word in this context because I'm not theacher, I'm just a humble Christian.

If I kill criminal or anybody else I'm doomed and I will become Satan's agent.

Assari. I would bet that you are on some sort of permanent medication, and that you somehow mssed them up just recently. You really need to take a second, loooong look at what you post.

My opinion on the scriptures in question:

EVERYTHING that got passed through as many generations and millenia is definetly subject to change and interpretion. I respect different opinions, but I think I am correct on this. And let's not forget that the books got tampered with again and again for political reasons. Yet, hey, I think it's all just very elaborate fairytales, so to me it does not matter that much.

The issue is not important to me as such. I somehow doubt very much that it is important to you either. I also very much doubt that you are a practicing Christian - you certainly don't come across as one. I actually suspect that you are what is commonly known as a troll. Most people do not believe in God but they have to admit that Christianity is a reality.

Before Christianity people were animalistic and sadistic barbarians and most of the moder people are still willing to kill without any hesitation.

Most of people want unconsciously to kill, torture and rape and therefore the Sixht Commandment is the target of their rage.
