sorry i dont live in usa, but what about Ron Paul?

He has the best grassroots following of all the candidates. Many, many college kids follow him. The media does a great job at making him out to be certifiably insane though. (and I'm convinced it's a concerted effort on their part to do that.)

Guy would roll back civil rights, if he isn't crazy or evil he's incredibly naive.

Palin won't be anywhere near the race in 2012 unless it is as a correspondant. I see the front runner as Romney with Santorum as a top VP choice. I don't know enough about Rick Perry yet to assess an opinion on him, but the little I do know makes me think he needs some fine tuning before making a serious white house run.

It doesn't look good, but neither does another four years of Obongo.

Any hopes for someone different to step out and have a Chance?

I don't get why anyone on the left would like Huntsman.

Well, if you consider me to be on the "left", I'd say that he doesn't believe in bringing religion into government and he doesn't deny the existence of evolution and global warming. If you're a right winger, those are pretty radical ideas I guess.

Huntsman has gone on record saying that he's a moderate. He's a center-right candidate and if he were to run against Obama in the general election he'd have a good shot because depending on who you talk to America is either a center-left or a center-right country. Romney is also a moderate Republican but he's just playing to the Radicals and the Tea Party right now and if he were to make it to the general election you'll see him move to the center.

Just another example of Hotelling's Paradox applied to electoral politics.

He probably won't win because the average American is too dumb to get his "radical" ideas, but Dr. Paul is the ONLY candidate from either party I would support. And I mean the ONLY one.

There's some fuckin' "change" for ya
