Pornstars Begging For Money

I think it is a disgrace. You pretend to be splendid and a Goddess. You go as far as playing the "who the fuck are you to call someone who takes two dicks up her cunt publicly or get naked for the masses a slut" and then as soon as you have to deal with bills and with your showed-off Goddess status unbearable expenses you cry for help from those same people that you have called annoying (to say the least) when you thought you were a star. I see more and more of this shit and, again, i find it disgraceful. What is with this trend? Sign of the times? Just selfish people who happened to land into porn, but they might have landed in any other businesses and still whine the same? Or maybe is it just me being acid and selfish and noticing this trend?
I've fallen twice for it in the past. Now, whenever i see the pornstar in disgrace playing the "Help, fans!" card i smell laziness, selfishness and thickness.
To say it in 5 words: i do not believe you.

Theres a far cry between begging for money, or offering goods/services in exchange for financial help. Begging is expecting cash while offering nothing in return. A lot of camgirls/pornstars DO offer site memberships, content, shows, and other goodies in exchange for people donating to whatever cause/need she has going on. I myself occasionally will hold a fundraiser for certain things and shoot all new content JUST for people who donate. I don't consider that begging...I consider it offering a great deal and incentive for people to be generous. But yeah, girls online saying "wahhh my dog needs surgery" and expecting dudes to outright pay for it for NOTHING...scam.

There was something going on a while ago when some OCSM basically ran up a 20k phone bill calling Iraq or Afghanistan every day to talk to her boyfriend. A lot of people got bent out of shape about it one way or the other but I recall it resulted in a bunch of bans. It was hilarious. Personally, I'd never go to a site where a girl has her wish list laid out. I find it...distasteful.

Like a wise man once told me, "if you don't hustle, then you get what you get".

i'm happy to support, but unless i know them personally (like Sabrina) i'm going to need some love back.

i respect when a pornstar/camgirl or whatever is honest and says i'm not doing in this business well, and is asking fans for opinions, or sharing her ideas. now it's up to fans if they want her to stay so they can enjoy her it's their move.
but yeah, lately we hear more and more from that, i hope they will make out.

I guess I'm out of the know on this, but, begging and asking for help could be seen as two different things.

About helping to pay for surgery for a dog or pay long distance bills - shoot the dog and get rid of the boyfriend overseas.

I couldnt agree with you more Sabrina. I see girls posting their wishlist on twitter 10 times a day. Some of those wishlists have fucking paper towels on them for fucks sake! (I'm NOT kidding!) Why would you put a $5 item on a wishlist?

Back when i started my site in 2004 I had been out of the industry for 4 years. I was dead broke. I moved from LA to Panama City Beach FL and lived in a tiny little hotel on the beach. I lived day to day with my dog Sophia and lived a VERY simple life of ramen and whatever cheap food I could afford to buy. I had some fans who had continued to encourage me to start a site through a yahoo group one of them had started. I was reluctant but they offered to help me get started and I eventually agreed (obviously) those people were very generous with me with helping with lights for my cam show, outfits and toys. They never paid my bills nor did I ask them to.

Some fans really enjoy buying girls things. it's their way of showing appreciation for the things you bring into their lives that obviously their partner or lack thereof brings them. I get that. They don't have someone in real life to spoil so they spoil someone who they admire and maybe it gets them some extra attention.

However, if you have to beg for rent or lights or car payments and hold "fundraisers" then you're in the wrong business or you're doing this business wrong. Get on webcam and make your money and have some fucking dignity. Let people buy you things they want you to have not pay for your essential expenses. To me it's pathetic.

What bugs me is the girls who set up funds for things like breast implants. If you have a well off fan or something who offers you money for something like that, sure, whatever. But to ask people to donate $10 here and there so you can get your tits done is ridiculous to me. Right now I'm trying really hard to pay off all of my credit card bills. So I'm making more clips and stuff like that and using that extra money to pay shit off. A couple of years ago, my mom almost died and was hospitalized for 3 months. I was not camming very much and had a couple of tough months but I never once asked for a dime from anyone. When I was able to, I got back to work and all was well. I make sure that I have a cushion to fall back on, if anything like that happens again.

I have a wish list. But I don't really tweet about it, it's there for those who want to use it. I want to get some new equipment soon and will I put it on there? Sure. If someone would like to purchase that for me, I'd be very appreciative. But I would never expect it and I will set money aside and plan on purchasing what I need for myself.

Are we really looking at standards here? I shake my dick on camera and put together a wish list. A Rolex, a Prada tie, an alternator for my car, what's the fucking difference? Let's see what people (who don't know anything about me) are willing to buy me so they can continue to see me shake my dick. If you're willing to buy me a toe nail clipper then you might want to pay for my bridgework. There's a sucker born every minute.

I look at those wish lists and other acts of cyber-panhandling as shameless unintentional comedy. Always best when one week prior they were on their high horse about how glamorous their life is and how we type on our keyboard's in our mama's basement. Who's laughing now and who's begging now?

I don't think there is any one way to look at or classify a situation where somebody asks for money. Whether I thought it was okay, or whether I would want to help depends on the circumstances it happens in. Those involve how trustworthy that person is, how dire I feel their situation is, how they are going to use that money, how they are going to try and correct their situation and if possible make it so they don't end up in a bad situation again, and why they need the money. There just isn't any fair way all situations like that could be grouped into one thing and be called either good or bad. Almost every one has to be looked at individually. Some situations I have more sympathy than others.

In the end they also aren't exactly holding a gun to anybody's head and forcing them to hand over cash. As long as they are being truthful and non-deceptive about the whole thing why should I care if somebody else feels like giving them something even if I think doing so or the reason the performer wants it are dumb?

I agree with you, Bob. I think it just comes down to "let the buyer/giver beware". I understand Sabrina's point too, as it might support negative preconceived notions about her (and other girls in the industry). There are a lot of fetishes out there these days - especially ones that focus on male submissiveness and female dominance. And one that seems to have grown in popularity is financial slavery: guys play into a slave fantasy where they must send money to their mistress/goddess. Some people send gifts just because they want to send a girl a gift - no games are being played by either party. I'm ordering a new car in a few months and when it arrives, I'm willing to buy a certain type of outfit for the model who will do a professional (no funny business) photoset with it - unless she already has what I want to see in her wardrobe. This will be my third (and last) attempt to put together a modeling session/photoset with one of my cars. An outfit that she can keep is just part of the fee that I'm offering (it amazes me how hard it is to find models and photographers, who are on the up & up, to do this relatively simple task! It's not porn, is artsy and quite tasteful in concept... no more than partial nudity). But yeah, some girls and guys get into entitlement and fantasy games. And some are into cons/mind games (pay your own fucking phone bill - I pay mine... you pay yours!).

As long as both parties go into it with open eyes, to each his own.

When it comes to something like a wishlist, I can't say I give it much thought. When it's something like medical bills (which I know I've seen a few handouts for), I have to shake my head. Is investing/saving money for a [NOBABE]rainy day[/NOBABE] or making sure that you have insurance something that people are unwilling to do in that industry? :dunno:

I very rarely give anyone money but Jaana Ruutu needed some help a couple of months back so I contributed a little bit to her.

I see those wishlists as another form of payment. Person who might not be willing to send directly money to model, might still buy little gift and I've understood that those girls give back something too. Those gifts might be something model would like to buy or need anyway, it might be something she will just return to get money or give to her friends to play with, who knows?...

Gifting some sexy dress to be used on camera might go, but having toilet paper in your wishlist sounds pretty cheap, come on... I get shit loads of ads to my letterbox every week I never read.. you pay postal charges and maybe I'll send you lot of advertisement paper to use wipe your asses...

Pornstars Begging For Money - I think it is a disgrace.

Does wanting to have others fund your travel, accommodation, food, etc., count as part of this disgraceful concept?

For example I recently recall this:
