Pornstars and Abuse

Marlo Manson

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
I disagree -- but there's no point arguing either way since there don't seem to be any reliable statistics showing how many female pornstars were abused and when (before entering the industry and/or within it after joining). I still can't find any online reference for Drew Pinsky's purported claim that this thread started with, either.

Indeed lets NOT argue, but if you think about the number of registered pornstars their are, I seriously doubt that the majority of them were abused or victimized, I actually think it would be around 20% of pornstars could have and may have been subject to the horrifying reality and unthinkable abuse both mentally and physically of being taken sexually taken advantage of @ some point in there lives which led them to the porn industry!! :eek:

If its higher than 20 - 25% I would be really shocked! I feel like if it were a higher # of reported cases / instances and more girls admitted to being abused or sexually assualted per say, it "the % of girls" would have been researched and proven too be fact, which it hasn't been as of yet, which leads me to a, jurors dilemma of proving a case without the shadow of a reasonable doubt which nobody has provided to this point!! :dunno::2 cents:

According to the statistics around the world, there is a new case of rape every 5 seconds and a fire started every 7. That's just what is being reported.

I guess all the women commenting here hate sex, otherwise they'd become pornstars themselves. I definitely think the vast majority have experienced some type of abuse and is one of the major factors that differentiates abused women vs those who love sex (obviously most people do) yet feel no need to become or venture into the adult industry. I'm not saying all, but a sizeable portion. To all those who think Dr. Drew is wrong, you shouldn't have any issue disproving his other assertion. Next time you run into an adult woman with a childish/little girl like voice ask her if she was sexually molested as a young girl. Simply explain that you know Dr. Drew is wrong and want to disprove his characterization of said individuals. Different argument, but I figure you're more likely to be in a position to confirm or disprove the latter.

Anyone know where I can find Brianna Banks with Max Hardcore, the infamous scene she talks about till this day where he kept her there for 6 hours?! I have always wanted to watch this scene but have never found it. Man Max hardcore was a crazy disturbed ma.

Are you comfortable publicly requesting a scene that Briana herself described as the worst experience she ever had in porn? Because I kinda wouldn't be.

I'd rather not watch it, but I am interested where we can find (reliable) interviews/news/etc where she talks about it. I've never heard the incident, so it would be helpful to get some context.

@Steve-FreeOnes & mods:
...come to think of it, with the OCSM revival, is asking a OCSM about such experiences allowed? Maybe FO can be that "reliable source" in terms of the OCSM's perspective.
There will be some who will be traumatized, but I feel there would also be those who might appreciate sharing their story & experiences. If an OCSM is willing to share, I think a lot of us will love to hear what they have to say.
