I haven't read the article, but I always say the more the merrier, more selection the better, even if the girls don't last very long, it was still a treat to see them, I mean sure I am disappointed if there is a beautiful girl that I really liked and she only did 1, 2, or 5 scene's / photo shoots, maybe she was experimenting with her sexuality, maybe she needed some quick cash, whatever the case maybe.

I personally know I'd hate too see the same old girls over and over, that, and another motto I always have believed in with the porn industry, in more cases then not, if the girl sticks around and decides to make a serious living for a year or 2 or however long she decides too stay in the industry, I feel and think The Cream of the Crop will almost always rise too the Top it doesn't always hold true, but, most of the time, if the girl has the right stuff, the right attitude, and does what it takes to be successful she will make a name for herself. there are exceptions however.

I have seen some super sexy girls claim / say, that they don't get offers to work, I don't / can't understand it because of there beauty, but, you never know the whole story from one side or the other, what the reasons are. but thats neither here nor there, cause we will probably never know the truth, one way or the other, Like I stated that's my take on the girls in the industry. I don't know, and never claimed to know the In's & Outs of the industry sort of speak, this is just my interpretation of how I see the industry working. :2 cents:

I think some pornstars got right in time in the profession and others retired quickly because it is not a job for everyone especially over the long run. You have to be mentally strong and stress resistant.

Back in the 70s, you could go to full sized theaters and watch two full length XXX movies. There was a popcorn machine in the lobby, and sodas and candy. The largest chain was The Pussycat Theaters. And believe it or not, they were actually nice and clean.

And since the movies were shown on the "big screen", the women and men were stars. Porn Stars in fact. But now, with the internet and dvd sales, nobody goes to see full length X-Rated motion pictures anymore. Come to think of it, do they even make full length X-Rated motion pictures anymore???

The situation is sort of like that early MTV song - Video Killed The Radio Star. Same thing that has happened in Porn.
