I AM A PORN ADDICT

I have about 125 porn dvds from a time when I could not down load from my fav tube site due to upgrades

I have about 1600 individual video clips mostly about 30 minutes each

I continue to down load 2 at a time and cum here to wait for them to finish.

I see something basically free.

I think it is valuable but know no one would buy them as they can down load them themselves unless they have no cpu access.

I ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT STOP- When is enough , enough

Does any one else have this problem.
IT all started when I read in a regular newspaper an article about porn and how it was a bad thing and I think it was how people got addicted.

The article even listed the site names.
freeones was listed and I originally went there and was not real enthused
When I started down loading pics- freeones became my main source

I have a favorite tube site- the number is below 9.


The newspaper article about a person complaining about his daughters pole vault pics going viral got me interested in her

What helps me is that I try to be really picky about the women I download. I probably have less than 5 hard core porn stars in my harddrive, and I try to only watch them. Sometimes its hard when I come across these forums and I see threads of a lot of women that are awesome but just arent quite good enough to make my cut. Girls like Dani Daniels, Romi Rain, Jessa Rhodes, Kimmy Granger, etc. I also have several art. glamour, and fitness models in my harddrive but they dont have as much material as the average porn star, so its not a big deal.

I had similar problems. For me, it helped to go on a long sabbatical regarding the internet and other things.

Wasn't onine for a total of 16 months.

Before, it helped from leeching porn in mass to working FOR porn, i.e. being a moderator here. Becoming friends with a lot of adult performers and people from the industry.

In general: Cut back dtastically on the tie you just sit there and consume - or rather - donload - porn. Becase I am püositive you can't really watch all the porn you got. Tat is just too much.

This helped me when I was going through that phase too.

@babybattersplatter I'm going to assume that you're young, only because when I was in my young 20's I wen through the a similar thing. Because of the ease of acquiring porn on top of the taboo surrounding it, it's easy to get wrapped up in the thrill of the hunt of finding new shit to download. It was at a point for me when I was downloading shit just because I could rather than downloading it because I thought I might actually enjoy it. If I did wind up enjoying it, then cool. But if I didn't then who cares right, because it's not like I couldn't just download something else a few minutes later. Solidifying what you're actual tastes who you favorite actresses are will help with that.

Also in case you haven't, try reading up on the ins-and-outs of the industry; how it works, how scenes are set up, things like that. It sounds weird but knowing more about the "technical" side of porn personally helped to destroy that fantasy. When I was young, it was easy for me to see two people fucking on camera and imagine how much fun they're having and how I wish I could be the guy fucking these chicks and how perfect everything looks on camera, that was until I read about how most of that shit really is fake: actresses claiming to fake their way through scenes, all the cuts and edits because the guy can't keep his dick hard, all the backstage bullshit between actor and actresses who don't really like each other, people literally doing this because it's an easy paycheck rather than something they enjoy (to be fair, there are those who really do enjoy it). I was actually going to write a blog about this (I still might) but nowadays I see porn more like professional wrestling; something I absolutely loved as a child but because I know how it really works and what goes on behind the scenes, I can never watch it the same way again. Now barring the very occasional scene, most professional porn is a bit of a turn off for me.

Find a new hobby. Easier to start liking something else than trying to drop something by itself.

Also good advice. You probably have too much free time on your hands and porn is the easiest way to kill time. Find a way to make yourself busy and you may find that you won't think about porn as much as you think you do.

When I started school this semester, I didn't want to have so many sites available to me that might (and most likely would) distract me from serious work. I was also feeling like my enjoyment of porn was starting to border on addiction, rather than just that, enjoyment. I set up a firewall blocking just about every site I could think of, and had my brother come up with the password so I wouldn't be able to unblock it if I got tempted. It's worked pretty well so far.

FYI- computer virus and breaking has put a capper on my porn supply

the freeness is the main driver and basically getting it from tube sites is not right- of course the dvds I bought.
(this is no different than stealing music by taping a record in the 1980s)

With a computer I have I down loaded pictures as I did not know how to do video back then.
It was a dial up cpu and took a lot of time
I organized and backed up a lot on a second cpu

When I added programs they ask if you want other interesting programs and one was a very destructive virus that took over control of my cpu and killed it.
