Pork Banned From London Big Borough's Primary Schools Menus

Halal one stays, of course.
Waiting for the Subways' supporters on another thread to come and say that it's just a business choice and to call on islamophobia.

Islington Council has ruled that it is too expensive to check whether pupils in its primary schools can eat sausages, bacon and pork chops due to their religious beliefs.

A council spokesman said ensuring Muslim and Jewish children were not eating the meat represented an "unnecessary cost at a time of tight budgets".

See, this is not bout Islam, this is not about religion, this is about budget.

For years, when porn was on the menu, jewish and muslim kids were offered an alternative pork-free menu. But one day, someone said that the school can't afford to do so. Then there was two possibilities :
- Suppressing the "standart" menu with pork, the one jews and muslims aren't allowed to eat
- Supressing the alternative menue without pork, the one everyone can eat.

But maybe they should have supressed the menue without pork, letting jewish and muslims kids in hunger. Should they ?
Now tell me : Are you anti-semitic as well or is your islamophobia so strong that you wouldn't mind some jewish "collateral damages" ?

There are contradictions and issues within the story that the reporters do not address. How can you say it is pork is less expensive than halal but money will be saved by cutting it out? "It costs too much to monitor which children are allowed to eat it." How does a reporter use this quote without challenging it? Doesn't the school know how many kids are halal at the beginning of the year? And don't tell me about food waste. Every school knows how many pizzas and fish sticks they'll serve on any given day. Kids waste far more food than what the cafeteria throws out. This is media created controversy and I'm not getting sucked into it.

"There are so many religions in this country and if listened to all of them then you would not eat anything.

Ask yourself why starting from primary schools.
Since it's not the muslims -or the jews- that have asked pork to be banned but the city council, whatever the reason they start from primary school, the ones responsible are the city council, not the muslims -or the jews.

All what muslims -and jews- want is to have something else to eat when pork is on the menue, they don't particulary want to banned pork for everyone.

Ask yourself why starting from primary schools.

I'm guessing because statistically primary schools feed more of the kids than secondary schools on account of younger parents that have less money, and providing school dinners is a much bigger drain on the budgets of primary schools. I had school dinners at primary school for a few years until mater und pater had enough money to start sending me in with my own lunch.

If the problem was the cost and complications of serving pork, what about other non halal or kosher foods? Non halal chicken is on the menu? Is that less costly and complicated to handle? Or are they only serving halal shit? There are people having problems to have their kids fed with halal food, you know? Their beliefs don't count?

Years ago at schools pork or any meat were not served on Fridays, but just fish and veggies. That was too religious specific and therefore possibly offensive to other creeds and atheists and that practice was dropped. But muslims seem to have a special immunity against neutrality of secular states. So much for integration.

"If there is absolutely no other halal food available and the Muslim is forced by necessity, then a Muslim is allowed to eat non-halal food". Wiki, from Quran and muslim historians. There you go. Eat what's there, no hell, problems solved. But no, everybody must adapt to their beliefs and eat what they eat. So much for integration.

It's not pork that should be banned from schools, but rules based on religious beliefs. Fuck the tight budget bs. This is yet another step towards Muhammadization.

About your renewed intolerant, ignorant, undocumented delirious accusations towards me, what can i say...the barrel gives the wine that has. So much for the paladin of tolerance, Johan.

One more you're showing how much ignorant your are. You speak about halal while halal is not the topic. Halal is to kill the animal in a certain way after having said a prayer. Pork-free doesn't mean halal and the artixle doesn't mention halal.
You say "fuck the tight budget bs. this is muhamadisation" but muslims haven't asked for pork to be banned, they have nothing to deal with that decision, the city council just thought that they couldn't afford to have a pork-free menu for muslims and jews for the days when there is pork on the "regular menue", so they supressed the pork menu and only kept the pork-free menu. If there's muhammazdisation, it comes from the city council, not the muslim community (unless there are a majority of muslims in the city council, which is very-unlikely).

Don't blame the muslims for decisions that aren't theirs. In this particular case, blame coward politicians, blame the members of the city council that are afraid that muslims wouldn't vote for them newt time if they supress pork-free menu.

I can guarantee you that were I live, school menues have fish on fridays and they have pork-free menues when the regular menu includes pork. France is a very secular country but atheist never complain about friday's fish (nor muslims since fish is not considered to be meat by the quran and is halal by nature).

The barrel gives the wine that has, exactly. And all you give is islamophobia and ignorance.

Halal is not the topic? Really? So you think that muslims cannot eat pork but they can eat non halal chicken? Talk about ignorance! There is no pork and no halal (haraam) as two separate things: there is halal and haraam. Pork is haraam, no matter how it has been slaughtered, chicken can be haram, cow can be haram and so on. If they break the rule for halal eating haraam food, then they can eat pork because pork is haraam. Halal is indeed part of the topic: if pork is banned to make it easier and less expensive to accomodate muslims pupils needs, then there MUST be a halal muenu. And there must be ONLY halal menu, because:

- If there is chicken menus, the chicken must be halal or the muslims couldn't eat it.
- If there is both halal and haraam chicken then the costs and complications of separate menus remains, so that would attract even more suspicious over the pork ban.

Now, once we agree that the meat must be halal, in those schools menus, that discriminates those who don't wanna eat meat of animals slaughtered and sacrificed to Allah. Now, please, tell me that it shouldn't be a problem for non muslims to eat haraam meat, so you can make a perfect fool of yourself.

I know many muslims. Some eat only halal meat. Some eat non-halal meat, except no pork. The same way some girls wear the hijab, some weear the niqab, some were the burqa (I don't know any of them but I've cam acrossed some), some don't cover their head at all.

Since the article doesn't mention halal, I don't think these pork-free menus are halal. Otherwise the article would mention it. Unlesds they are part of that muslim plot to "muhamadise" Europe.

You're only talking about muslims but jews don't eat pork as well. Jews eat kosher.
Why would these pork-free menues were halal rather than kosher ? What makes you think so, what kind of datas do you have that would prove it's muslims, not jews that are on the move here ? What proofs do you have that this isn't Yahweïsation instead of muhamadisation ?

Keep ignoring what people write, changing version and trolling, Johan. I'm done with you. I never thought i could say to someone "i'm too intelligent for you", but the day has come. Unfortunately that's not enough to make me intelligent over the average.

Looks like someone ran out of valid argument to oppose me. I'd take that as a victory.
