In response to a couple of comments on the other thread.
Michael Cohen wisely handled negotiations with Stormy Daniels without the involvement of Donald Trump.
He gambled that the 130,000 payout would make her and her “story” go away. Daniels agreed to the NDA but Cohen knew that she may come back to the well again like the greedy little bitch that she is.
Cohen also decided to not have “David Dennison” sign the NDA as to not leave a paper trail leading to Trump and wait and see if she came back for more which she has after she lawyered up. The agreement to pay Daniels was done within 3 weeks before the election, whether her claim of an affair was true or not it was chicken feed compared to the damage it might do to a candidacy days before an election.
If Daniels wanted millions he would have never paid her.
Cohen knew that 130,000 dollars would have this classy broad out on shopping sprees at Louis Vuitton and Coach for the next 3 weeks and if she came back later there would be no signed NDA tying to Trump and Trump could deny the affair and he could deal with it later.
Cohen is a damn smart lawyer and I see why Trump retains him.
He gets an A+ for how he has handled this.
