Sucks that she is leaving the porn biz. I got to meet her once and she was one wild cookie. Regardless, she was good at what she did and made cool videos.

I truthfully don't see what the problem is for you guys, who are acting like it's a crime she's retiring from porn. Dr. Drew legitimately cares about his patients on that show. If I recall there was an article that stated that when one of the American Idol contestants (forgot her name) that was on the show got in trouble with the law when she relapsed again after the show, he immediately flew out to where she was located to testify on her behalf to the judge and to make sure she got into rehab again. He also did the same thing recently for Steven Adler off camera, and frequently tries to help Jeff Conaway as well. I sincerely doubt he's personally trying to cash in on their fame, if anything VH1 will be getting all the profits.

There's nothing wrong with the show, and quite honestly, it serves to remind us that underneath all the fame, celebrities are just as human as the rest of us. A lot of the treatment they undergo during their time on the show is off camera anyway, and I'm sure having been in front of the cameras for so long they don't even care or mind it. It does seem like its had a good track record so far, as outside of a few extreme cases a majority of the celebrities have stayed sober and clean.

As for Penny, having read her previous blog, I can say that she seems like a very intelligent girl. It doesn't seem that much of a stretch that she came to this conclusion of quitting porn. She's gotta do what's best for herself.

Look, whatever Penny thinks is best for Penny is okay by me. That being said it doesn't change the fact that Dr. Drew is a quack. Any doctor that puts his patients on national television (granted it's only VH-1) only to have them mocked, laughed at and made fun of is violating his Hippocratic oath. He is a fraud second only to Dr. Phil. Oh and Dr. Drew is Executive Producer of his lame shows. He's making a nice piece of coin from them.
