PC Tech prob. please help

Ok, I had a virous problem a few weeks ago wick ended you with me having to reinstal windows.

After that I have caried on as normal, downloading pics of ****** and friends with no problem. But I have recently found a problem, you see I am a covert perv. My wife doesn't know of my carnal activities. I use the guest profile on my pc for all my porn needs and turn the account off when I'm not using it.

Well I have recently discovered that every single pic I have saved to my guest account will not open up. When I try I get a message that says "No file format information can be found in the registry". How can Ifix this problem and are all of the porn pics I have usless now?

Man that sounds odd... I'm no tech but I've never heard of anything like that. Maybe your Windows registry needs maintenance?

Photo Editor is trying to access registry keys that require permissions that your account does not have. In this case, information needed to build the Files of type list and to open graphics files is not available.

The problem can occur on Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, and Microsoft Windows XP.

For Microsoft Windows XP

1. Log on as administrator or as a member of the administrators group.
2. Click Start and then click Run. In the Open box, type Regedit.exe.
3. Select the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Graphics Filters
4. On the Edit menu, click Permissions and then click Advanced.
5. Verify that the Inherit from parent the permission entries that apply to ***** objects check box is selected.
6. Select Users from Permission entries, and then click Edit.
7. In the Allow column, select the Full Control check box, and then click OK.
8. Click OK and close the Registry Editor.

Nice call, looks like you searched the error message on Google... but is he using Photo Editor?

I'm not using photo editor but that sound familiar. I'll give what Aces suggested a try. Thanks
