The first two were pretty good, number 1 was my fav though, but I bet it'll be a tough sell to bring it stateside because I don't think they sold fantastically. Then again stuff like Tatsunoko is coming out so who knows.
Parasite Eve III would do better than most think. The game has a rather strong following. At least in older generations who were able to play PlayStation games and found the first two incredibly awesome games!
I love the second one though the most. The first is great, no doubt, I just play favorites with PE II.
I believe if they would do the III game right, make it Parasite Eve in the title, and follow it up as many years after and every between the II up to our present time was dormant, only to come back up again. I believe they would be able to sell it and kick start the franchise back again.
Parasite Eve has a stronger following and people, lots of people, are still playing the II one a lot today. As for the first entry, I am sure they play that as much, I generally keep with the second entry on other boards and see people still playing it and asking questions of how and whatnot. It's awesome. The game is over 10 years old and still being played and enjoyed today by both veterans and newcomers.

I heard at one point years ago that Madonna bought the rights to the American version if there ever was a movie made outside of Japan. Hopefully that doesn't come to fruition.
I played the heck out of the first one, so I would totally check out number 3, but I just really found the setting and characters of number 1 to have a lot more personality than number 2, not to say that it was bad, just not as wonderful in my mind.

That sounds like the most cracked out thing ever. I hope it isn't true at all.
I'm wanting to play nightmare mode in PE II
I would be happy with them putting the first one on the PSN.
I am pretty excited about this game. I hope that this games launch with bring 1 & 2 to the PSN.
