Really, Fox this is very simple, not so bogged up in the theoretical

. . Do carry on with your dialectical - psycho politiks though . .

Your opinion is respected.

Marxism and freedom of thought ...

I think all Americans condone Marxism.
I absolutely embrace Marxism.
I do it every day.
I let it guide my own choices.

I absolutely believe in corporations that believe in it (and yes, some do).
I am all for Marxist cities and other governments, just not federal.
I am not into the federal government forcing people to work together, especially when individuals disagree.

Isn't that what America is? We condone all ideas? Freedom of thought? After all - what is the opposite of condoning ... Everything condoned. Nothing persecuted.
You should really use these statements against 50% of your own posts. Seriously! ;)

The only thing I condone is not merely ignorance, but the statements that you don't want to even read up on something because you do not value choices and ideas that came before you. ;)

Individual choice is what must reign supreme in the US.
You can never force people to "do the right thing."
They must individually choose to do so.

Honestly Fox, the type of American you have to fear is not myself.
I'm the guy that would take you into my home if you were hungry or hurt.
I don't spend much money at all on myself or my wife.

I'm well above the curve on charity while being well below the curve on expeditures for an American.
I choose to do so, and think a strong federal government doing such is the wrong thing.
Because it's sad that we'd need such a government to force people to "do the right thing."

If that's the case, then we've got far greater issues to worry about.

As is yours. :)

If that's true, well, my next tour begins in October and goes to March - I visit every mainland US state and most of Canada and Northern Mexico, and I absolutely cannot afford hotels or the tour won't happen, so I sleep in my car, or at fans' houses. I have places to stay in 30-50% of the towns I visit. If you want, you can offer me a bed or couch for the night when I come through town. I appreciate that, and it would be nice to meet each other so we see in the flesh that we're not that bad.

That goes for anyone else who would like to give me a room for the night on my next tour. Though, given that this is a porn board, I don't expect many takers!

I don't want to force anyone to do anything and you know it. I want the people to decide everything. You already know how I feel. It has nothing to do with the government making decisions on our behalf - it is the opposite. Everyone gets to choose and no-one - yes, not even you - has precedence, no idea has precedence, over the idea of democracy and an equal voice for all. That is democracy.

And as for the greater issues... well, I agree. I think there are much more important things to think about, like, why we are so underrepresented and only the super rich elitists really have any political sway.

That's cool Fox. Just so you know, If I were to offer (as a Good Samaritan) you a room, you would be staying in a place with a loaded weapon on the premises. :)

Let him shoot off a couple of rounds and maybe he'll change his mind.

His next album could be called "Full Metal *******" :D

Now you know what happened here. In 25 years of ownership, I have NEVER had a firearm do that. Mis feeds, incomplete ejections, sure, it happens, bad ammo or dirty weapon...but malfunctions of that type, I would need to be there to see it. In fact, I wouldn't even believe film footage, first hand proof is the only way I would believe that rifle wasn't tampered with. I have heard of guys that file parts down on pistols, so they fire faster for competition, and the gun firing 2 rounds with 1 trigger pull, but thats far from full auto, and it is still technically an alteration to the weapon. If it is some freak occurrence, I would have my lawyers foot knee deep in the rifle manufacturers ass for that bullshit. 3 years of Federal time, means 3 whole years, and a firearms violation like that, means no ownership ever again. It also means some serious civil action against the manufacturer as far as I'm concerned.
His name is David Olofson, he had an old Sendra/Olympic AR-15. Back in the day sendra used to put some M16 parts in their rifle. The firearm malfunctioned and it went full-auto while a friend had borrowed it and was using it at a range.

Yeahhhh, gonna have to go ahead and sorta.. disagree with you on that one....

It will be a sad, sad day in this country if we allow things like this to occur. These rights were given to every citizen of this country for a reason, many good reasons; if we allow the government to take them away from us one by one, we will have turned into EXACTLY the type of government/country the founding fathers did NOT want us to turn into.

I don't own any guns. I have no desire or need. But I am damn glad that the right, the availability, is out there should I choose to do so at some point.

^ Beautifully and succinctly done, sir, Galactic
particularly the finale, where you look well past tomorrow - "should I choose to do so at some point"

the simple fact is, guns will not be banned/taken away by the government in the US because we gun owners will not allow that to happen.

when they come for your guns give them your bullets first. the day you have to hide your guns is the day you need to use them. this is all I have to say.

I don't think guns should be Outlawed completely. However, I am in favor of gun control which I believe needs to be more scrutinized. We have to remember the average criminal is not going to just walk into a gun store and buy a gun. They have other ways of obtaining the guns they use. Unfortunately with cases such as Columbine High School, those guns were obtained legally but somehow those kids got their hands on them. This is where good gun training comes into play, to keep those items away from irresponsibles.

Food for thought:

Residents of Mumbai, India have been restricted from private firearm ownership since 1878 through legislation of one form or another.

One may argue that recent events would have been different had the citizens been able to defend themselves with means that met the threat.

Very Good Sir ! Reps to you ! I was thinking about that reality, just yesterday, pertaining to what the firearms laws were in India. 1878 Huh ? Point well made !

We are immune from nothing xn o t h i n g x ! Ya hear ? ;)

It's my mother fucking Right to own a gun. If I feel like straight up shooting a mother fucker I can. It's the American way. And if they make an amendment then this country is destined for failure. :cussing:

I say that we should ban power drills. But why would you ban a tool? Exactly my point. Guns are nothing more than a tool. Hell I could go ape-shit and kill half a dozen people with a salad fork and a piece of twine should we ban them. Changing ANYTHING in the Constitution can be a very slippery slope indeed. How did that prohibition work out for ya. Banning things just leads to more demand and criminals having control of distribution.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.

Actually, it's not your right to just shoot someone. It's your right to defend yourself. If your busting chops, or trying to be funny, thats one thing, but if you truly believe this, then I can assure you, this is the type of thing anti gun people drool over. But I will say this, if they want to take mine, they will have to do just that, take them, because I will never give them up.
