Re: Osama Bin Laded is dead
but if donald trump wants to be the new man..he will be...proves my old saying..dont piss people off with Big money$$:2 cents:
Problem is, Trump doesn't have as much money as he claims to have. He is a billionaire, but from what I've read, very little of it is liquid. Having equity in a building or development isn't the same as having cash. So that $500 million that he says that he's prepared to spend on a campaign is kind of like those homes in California that he claims are almost sold out: a shot far wide of the truth.
Plus, The Donald has made a real enemy in Karl Rove. And you're not going to get very far as a Republican if you've made an enemy of Karl Rove. Rove is the primary reason that Bush got the nomination over McCain for the 2000 election. He made up vicious lies about McCain - and at least in South Carolina, it worked. With Trump, you have a draft dodger, an adulterer (married three times), a guy who was pro-choice and just recently switched to pro-life, was an Obama fan just a couple of years ago, was a supporter of universal health care just a couple of years ago and who knows what else? Rove is the kind of guy who would secretly leak photos (doctored or not) of darling Ivanka taking a facial from Puff Daddy during the Mississippi, Alabama and other deep south primaries if that's what it takes.
IMO, Donald is just a barking poodle who has convinced himself (and some others) that he's a Rottweiler. I used to have a lot of respect for him because of his real estate and project management skills. I've been reading about him for almost 25 years. But now I realize that he's just another fraud that can talk the talk but when it comes to walking the walk, he'll declare bankruptcy and run with the money. Any crook can do that.
Ross Perot was the real deal. And he had more money back in '92 than Donald Trump does now. But even Ross couldn't take the POTUS. He came damn close, but no cigar.
