Those aren't links to both speeches. Why quote? Why not just provide the links?

I know they're not links. The only quote that's around is the one that I've posted. I've searched everywhere and the only source I found for the Hitler speech is in a volume of books, which I can't access. As for the Bush quote, I haven't found a single source of it. Someone put his name along with Hitler's quote and made it his.
Id like to see some proof.

For me, WW2 and especially those death camps were a turning point for human history. The point where the world realized that human being's, even relatively normal ones, are capable (under the right circumstances) of doing anything. Including things that are so horrific as to be virtually unimaginable. That 'following the leader' can be truly nightmarish.
I truly believe that human being's have to learn to take sole responsibility for their own lives and stop looking for others to command and guide and 'save' them.
I believe I/we need to command/guide/'save' ourselves, but ALWAYS with open minds and not too much pride.
(note to self: well I guess that means I'm fucked then)

Both quotes can be seen and heard in the Zeitgeist movie. It shows the speech by Bush, which is EXACTLY as worded in the quote, and then goes to show the speech by Hilter, with subtitles of course. And both are EXACTLY the same.
And if you think it's BS about Hilter - Bush, just think of why Prescott Bush was involved with I.G. Farben, the producer of money for **** germany, and the main funder of both sides of the war.

One point to ponder is that George W. Bush like most U.S. presidents use speech writers so even if both speeches are word for word, is it likely that someone other than Bush wrote the speech given post 9/11 with clear knowledge of what they were doing?
