i disagree i think it going to be as good at very least if not better. ok only 16 players online is a drawback but 9 hours to cross the map means mass size. will have to wait and see. anyone know when this is due out ?
I remember the first Operation Flashpoint when i had my 128 mb ram computer.
It was a great GAME!, the maps where huge, it was really difficult, and never ending campagign mode. you could also create you own mission, setting out enemys tanks, helikopters, and all kinds of weapon,

yea, its hard but not because of the AI being smart or outnumbering you. Its hard because your ****** to engage the enemy from a distance without a sniper rifle. I'm fine with the distance thing, just give me a fuckin sniper rifle!
Also the bullet trajectories is rubbish. Its a game, I don't want to have to aim high because of how far the bullets have to go. When I have someones dome in my cross hairs I expect a 1 shot ****! Every other FPS ever made, the bullets go on indefinitely till they hit something. I like that! No thought process or other bullshit involved! Aim and shot, don't have to compensate for ****!
Maybe I'm just spoiled by the other shooters out there, but I find this one to be more irritating than it is fun.

Probly the most realistic war game ive ever played. But ofcourse idk what war is really like ive never been there
Take it from someone who know's Bosina with a 1st infantry and 2 tours in Iraq with the 3d Armoured Cavalry Regiment.
It's still a game, unless real bullets fly from behind the screen at you your not going to experience the fear, stress and intensity of REAL combat. Bottom line is in war no one cares about home many you ******, it's about home many come back to the FOB in one peice.

I wasnt talking about wars stress level to us personally i was talking about the person in the game how you have to be tacticle to survive and cant just run and *** through the whole game.

Not everything is tatical though, more often than not your plans are throwen out the window and you have to improvise on the spot.
Like the one night we were waiting to ambush a RPG team that our "informant" told us would strike the FOB. We watched that car pass 3 times and each time we were told to stand down, fianlly brass called us back to the FOB and once we got up BANG!! BANG!! 2 RPG's to our HUMVEE's. At that time i got on the .50 and let a hail of bullets onto that car, litleraly NOTHING was left and we found 1 bullet that passed thru the rear window, rear passanger in the shoulder, drivers seat, drivers hip, dash and stuck in the engin block.
Soo realistic i recommend it
