Now that I am completely out of debt, I am thinking about returning to school for a career change. I am considering online degrees since the price of gas is bound to go up again. I live about 10 minutes from a community college (in the house I grew up in-read
arents) so it wouldn't be a far drive. The school itself is so-so...but I have it in my head that I should move somewhere nicer and then go to school. I'm cool with my parents so there wouldn't be any problem in that area. They just want me to be happy. They are both retired and I'm 39.
Yeah, I know...I don't like to make excuses, but I never had the big bucks to go to college right out of high school so I went to one of those "Mc-art schools franchises"...big mistake. All I got now is an outdated Associates degree in Visual communications. They bascially took my money and I didn't even get an internship out of it.
I know I was very immature back then (partied and lost focus) so I have no one to blame but myself. I'm just trying my best to "correct" things in my life.
Has anyone tried onoine education before?
They say nothing beats the real one-on-one deal.
I though about still taking art classes but also dabbling in biology or pyscology.
:helpme:
