Accused: Jeffrey York is charged with ******* his ****** for up to 15 years
An American ****** has been accused of ****** one of his ********* repeatedly and keeping another one locked in a tiny room for over a year.
Jeffrey York is said to have ruled his home with fear and stopped his wife and seven ******** from seeing any friends and ******.
The alleged ***** was discovered in December after York's wife Danita told police he had ***** one of their ********* at their home in Madison Township, Ohio.
She told authorities that they were all physically and mentally ****** for years.
When police arrived at the home, she told them that she and the seven ******** wanted to leave.
The ********, two boys and five girls, range in age from three months to 19 years old.
York has now been charged with 19 offences ranging from **** to gross sexual conduct and ***** *****.
His arrest has echoes of Josef Fritzl, the Austrian ****** who kept his ******** Elisabeth locked in an hidden room for years and repeatedly ***** her.
Shocked U.S. investigators claimed that one of the girls had been kept locked in a room no bigger than a wardrobe for a year.

Her sisters told investigators that she was only allowed out to use the toilet and had little access to food or clothing.
Detective Dan Boerner said: 'Imagine an 8x10 bedroom being cut down into thirds with two-thirds being storage, one-third being made available for living space.
'This went on for a year where this ***** was locked in the room, periodically let out to use the restroom, but in general, meals were brought to this *****.
'Access to clothing, the restroom and everything was restricted by York.'
Detectives said they found that one of the girls, aged under 13, had been repeatedly *****.
The ****** were taken to a shelter for ****** women where trained counsellors were able to find out the details of the horrific living conditions allegedly imposed by 47-year-old York.
'The ****** appears to have been cut off from the world completely,' said Detective Boerner.
'It's not a cult, but they had no real support system and no way for the ****** to leave.
'There were no friends to speak of. The ***** was constant.
'When the defendant would leave the house, he would always take one of the **** with him. There would always be that fear of the "what if".'
York has denied all charges but is being held in jail on £160,000 bond.
