Old guys thread - 35+

I seem to recall a poll one time and I came out very close to being the oldest if not THE oldest member of Freeones....I'm 54 and damned proud of it.

Who can beat that?

I can easily beat that. I am 60.

YMIHERE is seeing his urologist at the moment. But I think he can. :D

My PSA was high but he renewed my Flowmax prescription. I got a strong urine stream now!!

Being over 35 doesn't make you more interesting.

I'm living proof of that. :)

Hell yes....it happens quick! You'll be 60 before you know it. Good news is....I still feel as young as you do....sometimes. Not often.

Congrats to YMIH on your PSA. I am personally worried about Flomax though.....does that mean I will have to piss even MORE often at night?

IBTW You use the "keyboard" in front of you. It works like a typewriter, except the words will appear on the "computer screen" as you peck at the letters.
Well, I hit 35 shortly. I guess you should have gone for 45, because some of us had 8080 and 8086-based computers in the mid-to-late '70s, which was very early for those of us just born in the early '70s.

But yeah, more and more I'm dealing with extreme late Gen-X and even early Gen-Y people who don't remember the world without the Internet, who never heard of the US with less than $1T in debt, can't believe what people did before cell phones, etc... ("why would you be pulling over trying to find a pay phone, did your phone break?" -- no joke, at work, when I was telling a story from just about 12 years ago!).

"That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older and they stay the same age."

A classic line from the film Dazed and Confused and one that, after high school, I really started to notice in My life. Hell, I was shocked that I was older than Playboy's Playmates when I hit 23 years of age... now I am like 10-15 years older then the girls... There is a fine line between aging well and refusing to grow old, and I think that I am doing that rather nicely; it helps to be gregarious and have a much younger girlfriend.

I think it was the American athletes being far younger than myself, especially household name veterans in the NFL. That really make me "wake up."

As far as women, I've been into older women. Always have, always will be. As my wife ages, she just gets "more ideal" in my book. I mean, she was a fluke -- a very mature 18 year-old. So I've had her since then. Not sure if that will last after her 40s, because I never had a woman older than that. But I know it's only getting better for the next 15 years like the first 15 have each been incrementally better as well.

Oh, that is true about sports stars... It's always odd to think of guys that I seen drafted into their particular sport being retired, or noticing that their kid plays the game.

With women, My girlfriends' ages have run the gamut of being up to 9 years older than Me to 9 years younger... Right now, she's younger...

I am in America, not of it.
Children, Children., Don't fight. I admit I wasn't around when dirt was made, but I did know people who were. I will admit to 57 as of now but no more till next year.

What's really startling is when you're in the grocery store and happen to have an unexpected multiple year reunion with that cute little squirt of a girl, 2 years your junior, that you were squirtin' when you were both minors x:shy:xxand she's either as hot as she could possibly beflylickerxor aged, round and haggard :(

Tell me that somewhere in the conversation that "where have the years gone" isn't mentioned, verbatim ! lol ! ~

You're only 60 eh? ;)

I think I have a slight edge over ya. I was born about a year and half after the end of the War.

cheers,
