OCSM Protection Act Reminder

Since we've had a few violations this week of the OCSM Protection Act, I just thought I'd like to give a little reminder to everyone on what it's about.

So, in a nutshell, FreeOnes is a porn site. We have something pretty fucking fantastic going on here that doesn't happen in many other places around the internet...the girls come here to interact with YOU.

However, when certain individuals are downright classless assholes towards these girls, generally the bad outweighs the good and our OCSMs disappear. We don't want that. We want them to stick around and I believe a majority on this board want the same thing.

So the OCSM Protection Act was born. Here it is in a nutshell:

- It's OK to have an opinion. It's NOT OK to be a complete douchebag about it.

- It's OK to disagree with an OCSM. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. However, do it without being a downright jackass and know when to let it go (this of course goes for both OCSMs and members).

- You DON'T have to put up with OCSMs who disrespect you. JUST DON'T ENGAGE THE BAD BEHAVIOUR and instead report the post. If you don't report the OCSM and instead decide to interact with her, then that's on you. If it really gets out of hand, then action may be taken against both of you.

- IF you see someone else acting badly towards an OCSM, report it. You're not being a snitch, you're helping us keep the OCSMs happy and interacting.

- IF an OCSM takes it upon herself to jump into an argument or debate, then good for her. We all assume she has her big girl panties on. However, this doesn't give anyone license to be a jackass.

So, are we clear on what it's OK and NOT OK to do with OCSMs? Because of course if you don't like any of them, we have almost 30,000 other babes for you to go look at.

One doesn't have to be a "downright classless asshole towards these girls" in order to scare the OCSMs away.

The general behaviour of many people here is enough to let the OCSMs disappear (even if the things some people post aren't against an OCSM)

Maybe you should add some other rules aswell in order to improve the overall atmosphere on the FreeOnes Board

I think everyone who isn't a (to use Maggie's phrase) douchecanoe can probably agree that attacking OCSMs in general is pretty lousy. Be it personally against a single OCSM or making blanket statements that reflect on them or the industry as a whole. Whether it's some disturbed little malcontent or whether it's an OCSM living out some kind of jealous rage with an alt account (or it's her manager, or webmaster, or whatever) it's just not very nice. It's also not showing the proper respect due since OCSMs (such as yourself) come here to interact with fans of their own freewill, and generally are probably are getting less out of the board than they're putting in. I think it'd be tough to argue that the OCSMs aren't a draw, nor that the userbase of FreeOnes expands quickly enough to make frequent posting here an exceptionally effective advertising tool... once you've been seen by and reached the base, they're probably going to decide then and there whether or not they're a fan and whether they're on board or they aren't, and I'd assume it's not likely to have much effect past that (and of course this is FreeOnes, and it seems like a lot of people who come here are specifically looking not to pay).

With one exception that I've seen personally, the OCSMs (at least with their official account) don't generally seem to go out of their way to earn peoples' ire. Which isn't surprising since most are the face of their own business. They stand to lose something. Random posters don't. So this means that, yeah, generally typical members will be the problem. It also means that, as Miss H suggests, that if an OCSM feels the need to be "catty" that she'll likely create a dummy account. Personally I think it should be discouraged, and such behavior should reflect back on their official accounts. It's also a heck of a reason to reinstate the "one account only" rule and enforce it.

Everyone is entitled to be treated fair and with respect, whether it's member or OCSM. I don't care if an OCSM is big in the industry or might be important for FreeOnes for whatever reason, it cannot be an excuse to ignore these basic values and treat someone with these rules and somebody else with another set of rules. If she's an ass, she should be banned from the board.

Cmon...FOs is a private site, and if the admin wanna ban all blue-eyed cockroaches then it will be done.
Otherwise...I like the Politics and God section as is...and if the powers that serve Chluthu say you are gone...bye bye.
If they don't wanna deal with juvenile squabbles that's that. If they do...tremble, cockaroaches!
Anyone breaking a rule of FOs isn't playing at politics they're saying "fuck you" to the site owners/rulers/main pervs who run the site.
Don't do that...
And if multiple accounts are good for business (Google rank, etc) leave it alone, it's business and not open for discussion.

If this is happening since the creation of the OCSM protection act back earlier in the year, then you need to give up names in email or PM.

I don't know. I could name 4 douchebags posting in these forums and a couple of hundreds of pretty decent and nice people. This morning i went to the cityhall to get some documents done and out of 6 employees (paid also with my taxes) i had to deal with throughout the 3 hours process (final outcome was 2 sheets printed by the push of a button), 6 were douchebags.

I've heard that Al Gore's ‘The Future: Six Drivers of Global Change’ has given vomit attacks to some. Well not to me: once i saw the title and the author i simply passed and read something else.

Choose wisely when you can, deal with it when you cannot. That's, among others, what defines an adult.

Oh, and Miss is right: there is plenty of morons among ocsms too and morony is like crap: it smells bad no matter which ass dumped it.
