I think Obama's remarks were basically on target. And from what I've read they don't seem to be having much impact on voter's views of him in PA one way or the other, despite Clinton's attempts to capitalize on them.
It seems to me that Obama may be an atheist. He often shies away from the God bless America B.S. The statement he made sounds like a shot a religion as a backward idea. I do not believe he is Muslim or Christian. I think Islam thing was done out of respect for his ****** and attending a church is a mere contrivance.:2 cents:

the reason why he does that is becuase religion shouldn't be something we all should be concerned with when considereing who should be the person to run for president....It shouldnt' matter the religion of a person because that is very irrelevent to whether they are capable of running a country. Remember that ol' saying "seperation of church and state"? I would rahter have a muslim president if he/she can run the country better then a person who is of christian faith....its all about the leadership of a country....not the faith of someones religion.....
seperation of church and state...it should be in place here as well and people sholudn't worry about the faith of a persons religion when choosing a candidate. just like we shouldnt worry about the gender, or race or age of a president..barack obama was right the other night saying he takes punches from people criticizing his abilty to run a country based on things that have nothing to do with him running the country.
thats like if i want to be the principal of a high school and i apply for the job and someoen says i'm not capable of having the job because i don't drive a Lexus

If the person running goes against someone's faith then I doubt they will vote for that candidate. It's very relevant. But, as we all should know, Presidents aren't elected any more they are selected. The last elected President was JFK. Then he told the truth and they ****** him.
