Obama's remarks

No they don't. Where does it say that? The '1880's guide to parenting'? Most parents are fair at best and if **** are smart they will keep as much info away from their parents as possible.

The progressivist says they don't.

The pragmatist says they do :yesyes:

So, according to the progressivist state of mind, all minors (********* of majority) are therefor wards of the state ?

She should have the *****. That's part of responsibility. If you get pregnant you have the *****.

People will listen to what they want to. Most ******** treat sex-ed like any other class. It's another class to ***** in or goof off. There's no need for sex-ed in schools. That's the parents job.

A 16 yr old should have the *****? I could not disagree with that more on so many levels. What 16 yr old is ready to be a good parent and support a *****? It would probably mean a very tough time for her and the *****.More than likely she will end up poor and a single parent and don't count on her parents footing the bills.Taxpayers will be paying for that for probably at least 18 yrs if not longer.
And let me throw my own controversial little bomb here lol.Even adults should think long and hard about reproducing. We are facing a global crisis you know on many fronts due to the population explosion.I know being "pro-life" is perceived as a good moral position but if being moral means that we cannot control our population and take some of the pressure off the planet and enviorment than being moral needs to be redefined.
And on the sex-ed question even if **** treat it like any other class they will get some good information that they would probably not get anywhere else. They will retain a lot of the information as they do from the other classes.Just sticking your head in the sand and saying "parents should do it" just denys the fact that most parents aren't equipped to do it or know that much themselves. The US has such puritanical views on discussions of such things we end with much higher teen pregnancy rates and sexually transmitted diseases than countries who do engage in such education for ********.

Agreed.
When I was ******* my girlfriend and I were all but inseperable. There wasn't a person we knew who didn't think we were ******** together; except for her parents, who so wanted to preserve their image of her as their innocent princess that they embraced complete denial. So naturally no thought was given to educating her about, or providing her with any method of birth control. Instead I used condoms, and more than once one broke. Fortunately she never got pregnant, but......

Some parents are simply too wrapped up in their projections to act responsibly on their ***'s behalf.

But hey, back to the point of the thread- I think it's cute the way these two democrat candidates keep shooting themselves in the foot.

"Sniper fire..."

"Typical White Person..." :D

"Guns, faith, and anti-immigrant sentiment...":rofl2:

And the list goes on. Sooner or later, they'll get around to insulting everyone. Maybe McCain has a chance just by staying quiet....

H

McCain will win N. Carolina by 77% against the Democrabs and will capture 15 Electorate votes.

This is because the Clintons are ****** in continuing attacking Obama and the press is picking up every word Obama said.

The Cons cast aside McCain 8 yrs ago & he's all they have to offer? They miss the boat again with Romney.

REAL TALK!

Peace.

No ****. No wonder we can't get anything done when every utterance any of the candidates makes is sliced and diced into sound bites and spread all over the airwaves for the pundits to spin whichever way they want.

In the final analysis, the relative importance of the president is somewhat superfluous when the system itself is so fucked up to begin with.

If a ***** shouldn't have a ***** then why do the schools teach that it's fine for them to have sex if they use birth control that isn't 100% effective?
Shouldn't they be discouraged and then punished when it's found out they are? I don't believe in abortion. ******* an unborn ***** that didn't do anything wrong is ******.

but parents should over there ********?

the issue of abortion has always been about a woman's right to have control over her body. it's a little bit more of a decision than getting a tattoo or seeing an R rated movie. that decision will effect them for the rest of their life, and once they become an adult they will still be raising their ***. In other words, they will be obligated to abide by their parents choice and not their own.

I'm really sorry that I have to go down this dark road, but it needs to be said. What about in situations where the girls' ****** is also the ****** of her baby?

Yes, minors are in the control of their parent's until they move out. As I said before I don't believe in abortion. ******* an unborn ***** to forgo your responsibility for making the ***** is wrong.

No one running is good enough to be President.

We need someone who hasn't been in Washington and who isn't a career politician.

The elitists and career politicians have to go.

Also, anyone that is a member of any club.

Just how do you suggest we punish them.

Well I agree with you there 100%.

Re: Obama's remarks

What's amusing is how Hillary continues cross check the Obama camp with respect to this matter :D.

as if she feels any different !:1orglaugh

Obama needs to learn what plays and what doesn't.

As much as it pains me to say - Advantage -> Clintong

^^
Do you really think this one will matter? We're still SOOOOO LOOOOONG before the next primary. I think it will die down by then...even if the Clintons open every speech by rehashing it...

I think Hillbilly Clinton's remarks of "Bosnia sniper" "helping to settle peace in Ireland" "35 years experience" "NAFTA has been good for Wall Street" are more detrimental in the long run....

I used to spend less than 20 bucks in gas a week.

Now I have to spend more than 40 bucks a week for gas.

I have every right to be bitter !

Well assessed, I concur.

I Agree ! and here we've had greater than 30 years to expel ourselves from the grasp of the foreign oil cartels !
Policy makers (on both sides of the aisle) could have acted in a bipartisan manner in the employment of an effective energy policy, the rest is history.
We could have been 100% energy self sufficient had the government only acted as a responsible investor and Dollar Cost Average (investment allocation) into a nuclear energy infrastructure.
The employment of nukes eases up on the pressure we're currently putting on other reserves.

Zero green house gasses (nukes) too.

parents should know if their under 18 years of age ******** is pregnant, I think thats a no brainer.
getting back to Obamas comments, its just another example of the way he truly is.It demonstrates again the way he truly feels about white middle/working class.
This man is a super liberal, an extreme liberal. He has hid it well in the past but its becoming more and more apparent everyday.I think not now nor any is the time for the U.S. to have an extreme left winger in office.

You don't even know the man and yet you know how 'he truly is'?

I just saw his comment about 'small town ***-toting, religion clinging' asswipes. right on!

fuck em, and everyone who looks like em.

we need a president that's gonna get some **** done, not keep dumbing down America by appealing to the lowest common denominator.

it's funny because all the "controversial" things just make me like him even more.

You have to appreciate the hypocrisy in his statements and the way he can tailor his messages to make the people he's speaking to happy at the moment. Of course everything now is caught on tape and put on the Internet. I find his statements about people clinging to religion funny considering how he himself has supposedly stated how he has clung to his religion. Like it's impossible for anybody but him or people like him to have religious beliefs because you are deeply committed to them and not because you're desperate. If it makes him feel any happier I also cling to both my guns and religion when I'm not desperate and everything is going good in my life. There are deeper values for why people do that other than being weak-willed. Of course classifying people is probably easier than realizing the truth.

I agree, though I haven't seen the whole video.
Any dickhead can be politically correct. I admire someone that says whatever the fuck he/she believes. I don't want vanilla. I want Rocky fucking Road.
People that play it safe in politics are out for one thing, themselves.

this is the way i look at it. people are giving barack obama a hard time on comments he made that are true. i really dont understand it. because he has done nothing wrong and he has said nothing false. the only thing that i think he could of done is rephrase his wording a little better to sound more precise on where he is going with his message. because come on, this is america, people can't sit and use rational or logical thinking. people are now saying he doesn't like small town people and his true colors are showing..if that is what a person got out of those comments, even after he has cleared up what he meant then you my friend have an IQ somewhere in the single digits.

people are just looking for a reason NOT to vote for him...

and for people that are favoring McCain over the democratic party.... i will utter the words of the infamous Rev. Wright...God Damn america...for their stupidity

that is all
