Anyone care to explain why Nobama's wife didn't make th trip to see her with him? And why the hell was it so fucking publicized that eh was going to see her. I don't announce it to the world when I go and see my family, so why does he? But I guess "The Annointed One" can do anything he likes and it'll be so great b/c the leberal media tells everyone it is.

It's called ratings. Obama is well known to the public, so people will tune in to a TV station to hear anything about him, even if it's about a death in his family.
Remember a few weeks ago when Matt Bryant's kid died? It was all over the news, all because he's a football player in the NFL. It was none of our business, but we all know about it.

It was "publicized" because he is running for president. And he didn't announce it to everybody.
The reason you don't announce to the whole world when you go to see your family is because nobody gives a shit about you.

It was publicized because Obama is on the campaign trail for the Presidency and the media was explaining to the public that support him and were going to see him the reason why they wouldn't see him. His wife didn't go with him because it was not needed and she would be better suited campaigning for him with Biden and Clinton. It's not hard to figure out actually. If McCain's mother had been that sick than it would've been publicized that he left the campaign trail as well.
Oh boy you really had to go there and open that can of worms. Pretty simple Obama and the media are like siamese twins, if he farts they will be alln over it like he has graced them with his flatulence. Now about the Grandma that's just a matter of honor I would not even go there that is very personal and he is high profile so it's gonna be in the news have no doubt about that.
I honestly think that it would have been the same coverage if McCain's mother were to be sick and he left the campaign trail for a few days. They would have covered it just as much I believe.
Even more so as McCains mother was much more a public person and made several TV apperances.Anything that causes one of the candidates to take time out that close to the election is news.
