Obama win preferred in world poll

I think this has to do more with the more liberal thinking world (and I don't mean that in a bad sense, simply a literal sense) than most of the US

Everyone is right to point out that the "rest of the world" doesn't have a say in this year's US elections - but please remember those foreign countries who came to the aid of Dubya when he planned his little excursion into Iraq.

According to Bush himself, 41 countries -- and more than 140,000 foreign troops -- have participated in the Iraq conflict.

The Web site for Multi-National *****-Iraq says there are 21 countries still participating in the war effort in addition to the United States, including such contributors as Australia, Japan, Britain, Albania and Estonia.

Considering the ultimate cost of said excursion, I think those countries polled can be forgiven for their preference towards Obama....

Thank you and good night (or to be more precise, good morning, over here)......

I never, ever, ever forget all of the other nations involved in the fight, nor the sacrifices their men and women have made.

Since when Americans were in favor were working people have to pay for other non willing to work people and people living in the ghettos?????? Socialism has never been accpeted in the USA .It is mostly people who live in the ghettos, are poorly educated and who are lazy who think that working people have to pay social security, Medicare and Medicaid for them.

you seem to have a lot of problems with these people who live in ghettos

- do you think they are a certain "type" of bad person?

do you find them more lazy or more poorly educated?

perhaps some people in "the ghetto" have not had the same opportunities as other parts of society,
have not had as good an education, have been discriminated against etc etc

i guess you're one european who is not wanting obama to win then
:D

well some people living in the ghetto were autodidacts or self made men and they succeeded. Opportunities are not brought on a plate to you, you have to fight for them and look for them. In France, we have ghetto quarters enough bad tough they are not as bad as the Watts or the Bronx, they are always plagued with young people that never go to school, who burn cars and who prefer fighting with cops and prefer easy dirty money from **** sales than honest work. About education, it is mostly the fault of the parents, why giving birth to a ***** if you can't raise him???:dunno: It is pretty stupid to give birth to a ***** just in order to get social helps, it is very materialistic and dumb. Discriminated???? Police knows who burn cars and steal ***** and when these ghetto people are controlled , they speak about discrimination and whine about it because they feel uncomfortable when they get caught during the act of vandalism. Everyone whether it is in France or in the USA knows who sells *****, behaves like scum in public transportation and is an embarrassment for the society. Everyone is offered a chance at school or at a work, if you fuck it then you are the responsible of fucking it. I will always prefer and will always rather have a republican than some democrat at the white house. I can't stand leftism and anything related to it.

to control the society? neither because we are not a communist county (yet). mccain is strong on national security, obama weak. obama wants to cut billions in military and defense spending while spending billions more on social programs and hand outs.... the choice is obvious.

Heh. Well, obvious for me, anyway, though my 'obvious' and your 'obvious', judging from your tone, are quite opposite. To borrow from their name, Food Not Bombs is not even a better choice, but the morally right choice to me.

Here's a newsflash for some people.... John McCain is NOT GW Bush! In fact, before McCain had to suck up to the GOP bubbas a little bit to get $$, they HATED each other, and privately still do I'd bet.

Sorry, just had to get that out... All I freaking hear lately is "Not 4 more years of Bush." No offense to anyone in particular, but that's the most ignorant thing I've heard in politics in a long time...

That they disliked each other isn't even remotely an argument against their similarities. So to disagree with meesterperfect's "Yep" - nope.
