I just wonder if Obama said as little in Germany as he does here about anything of actual substance, or if he just got everyone chanting things and talking about vague things like "change" and "hope", and saying "yes, we can" four hundred times.

He would be a disaster as president, and once again we're going to have an election where neither guy is worth having in the white house.

I was in Chicago 4 weeks ago. I googled the direction I have to go from Midway Airport in Chicago south side to the north-west end passing through Obama south side war zone. In which more American got killed than American soldiers in Iraq last month. In just one weekend, more than 10 people from Obama south side got killed.

The rental car company told me straight in my face, stay out of Obama south side war zone, use a by-pass to go up north.

You think Obama has not served his country. I dare anyone here work in Chicago south side for 2-3 years and come out alive !

Asleep the truth is most americans regretfully really care little what america's foreign policy is unless it seems to be hurting us domestically at home.High cost wars and high gas prices is what they are concerned about here and they see foreign policy in that so are interested.On Obama my brother who works for a political action grass roots group just attended a conference this weekend and introduced a speaker who worked with Obama as a community organizer in Chicago.He told my brother he knows Obama very well and the truth as far as he is concerned is that Obama will have to be pushed very hard to take any bold moves as he is really a risk adverse moderate politician in his opinion.He is no where near the left winger we would like and that others are so afraid of.

I'll admit, I can sometimes have that attitude, but usually only when I feel like I've finally settled on Obama, then he goes and does something that pisses me off. But even when I go there, and say we're fucked, generally I'm looking at it as being fucked with Obama or being fucked with McCain.

Well, don't expect the world to care about social security, health, employment etc issues of USA. Those 200.000 Germans or sympathizers from any nation are sincerely hoping for a change.
