Obama Report Card - Two Years Later

I gave him a 7. I think he's had way more impact than people seem to think, but he certainly hasn't had the monumental impact predicted during his campaign.
I say 4. It would've been cool if Hillabeast would've won instead of the freshman senator.
What would she be doing differently in your opinion?
From what I can tell he's pretty much continued on with the Bush doctrine implemented in his final two years of office - especially when it comes to foreign policy, of course you can't say that that's an entirely bad thing, but for someone to run on an election promise of change, especially in these areas it's a little odd in that sense. He gets points for what he did during the economic crisis as HM points out, but the entire health care debate was a big loss in my opinion. That fight could have been won, but because of the administrations and the democrats complete incompetence and failure to match opposition rhetoric you were left with nothing more than insurance reform which does nothing more than strengthen insurance companies and monopolising health care even more.
So I give him 6.

Obama gets a 6. Again though, it's only been two years. He still has time to improve.
Probably not a whole hell of a lot, but perhaps with an Obama VP it would've been more fitting; kill two birds, ya know (first female and first person of color)? Is she going to run against incumbent Obama in '12? That's the word, right? That cannot have happened too often in American history. Either way, whoever went in the Oval Office inherited the Bush conundrum.
The Congress and the Senate have been solidly Democrat, following every Obama wish, for two years!
If this guy and his party aren't a total failure, I do not know who can be?
I would give him a 4. I give him a big thumbs up for scientific issues like environmentalism and stem cell research, but otherwise he doesn't seem to have accomplished much. It's wise to preach the need for change but never change too much at once, but now after two years I wonder if he can get anything big done.

Wrong Nester. It requires a 60% plurality to get anything done in the Senate (why, I have no idea) and every time there is something that the GOP members in the House are against, they filibuster the shit out of it. You watch...when and if the pubs get control of the House back, the dems will turn the tables and do the same thing to them. "Following every Obama wish"....yeah right.

Wouldn't a "5" be a "C" based on this scale? I gave him the "4" since it would equate to a "C-minus" in my view. "1" would be an "F". Anyway....that's how I viewed this scale.
