I am still envious of MP because he lives/lived in Medellin. Lucky fucker
Hulk Hogan is an athlete? PLEASEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! Hell admittedly steroids made him what he was physically (yeah, I actually lived in the Harrisburg area during the whole WWF steroids federal trial.....and the Huckster WAS an admitted JUICER), and every analysis I ever read on professional wrestling had Hulk Hogan down as one of the worst athletically in the history of professional wrestling. Seriously......what was his biggest maneuver? A LEG DROP! Wow!!!!!! That's IMPRESSIVE. And now he's pimping midget wrestling on Tru Tv? I won't even get into the ickiness of him lotioning up his grown daughter or anything like that.
And sorry, there is something sad about guys either pushing or in their 60's still portraying cartoon characters.
Anyway, I can't believe I am engaging in a debate over professional "wrestling" with grown men........I grew out of it when I was like 15 and found out that it was staged and fake. Just sayin'
If it makes you guys feel better.....I TOTALLY respect guys who used steroids to pump up the physiques.......no not really.....but still. :2 cents:
If you GROWN MEN actually enjoy professional "wrestling" and respect professional "wrestlers," I guess that's on you & your choice.......I'll still counter that there is something sad about guys doing it into their 60's. :2 cents:
At 1st I thought you meant at wrestling.....I wouldn't be so sure, I was going to say that I seem to remember Flair's wife being arrested for giving him an old-fashioned beat down. But then I saw you meant for OOTW.....she hasn't actually won that in over 3 weeks.....and that was without Flair.
Gayest thread ever.
No surprise there.
Did anyone else LOL @ Hogan referring to "Real American" as his music? The last time I checked, that music belongs to the WWE and was actually used by other wrestlers before Hogan made it famous.

:wtf:
Ummmmmm, should I take it that you are a steroids advocate, that you don't see anything remotely sad about a man in his 60's portraying a "cartoon character" (or late 50's in the case of Hogan) that he has been doing for 40 years even, that you are still into a "sport" that REALLY is geared to young boys.....it's really a soap opera for kids (boys) really, or all of the above?Appalling
But Hey, what the hell....vote for Nikki Nova!
Hogan is busy running a mediocre promotion that was created by Jeff Jarrett and his dad to pimp Jeff (I mean, how long was he TNA champ in the beginning?) into the ground......and pimping midget wrestling on TruTv......I don't think Hulkamania is exactly "running wild" anymore.....perhaps "lumbering along with the assistance of a walker".....but not "running wild" anymore. Not to mention the fact that steroids made "Hogan" what he WAS. Besides, when you have to shill yourself on a midget wrestling show to make ends meet......NOPE not exactly "running wild"! :2 cents: Just sayin'!Yeah, that's because all the guys who normally vote for her week-in and week-out changed their minds after the Hulkster withdrew his support for her.
Hulkamania > Nikkimania > Pastamania
It's just the way it is.
:nanner:
Well we're WWE fans. We either live with our parents, or in a trailer park. Or meth lab.
I think most of you here live with your parents and never had a job in your lives.
That story was nice, Cindy...especially the "let me be clear" line. :1orglaugh
Thanks!!!! I had a blast writing it.
Well we're WWE fans. We either live with our parents, or in a trailer park. Or meth lab.
And in some cases, a combination of all 3!
Wouldn't that be a bald tax then?Hogan wants a tax as flat as his head-great idea.
Wouldn't that be a bald tax then?
Bald AND flat.
You call a guy who is pushing 60 who still portrays the same "cartoon character" he portrayed for nearly 30 years.....who now is busy pimping midget wrestling as having a real job? I call it PATHETIC! What is he known for exactly? A leg drop? Everything I ever read say that he is one of the worst wrestlers from an athletic standpoint in the history of "the sport".
Actually, now that I think of it, Ric Flair is every bit as PATHETIC.....God, what is he....62?!?!?!? And he is still busy playing the same "cartoon character" he played for nearly 40 years!?!?!?!? Sorry, that's what I call PATHETIC. Doesn't anyone ever plan for the future? I know few of them have anything going for them skills wise, or they wouldn't have entered the world of professional wrestling in the first place.........but still!!!! Just sayin'!

I just think there is a time that people need to move on with their lives, and I find it sad that/when some can't seem to do that. Hell, I went to Penn State, and I find Joe Paterno sad in that he's pushing 85, and he can't bring himself to hang it up as head coach......and I'm sure he has more money than Hogan & Flair combined. In Hogan and Flair's cases.....it's more that they actually NEED the money.....and that's sad too.
And like I said about moving on with their lives, people normally grow up and move on too. I used to watch Sesame Street too when I was like 6....don't anymore though....just sayin'! :2 cents:

Oh, you're just sayin'. I thought you were...well...what else would that be besides "saying"? Why do people feel the need to say "just sayin'" at the end of what they say? Could someone explain why people say that?
What constitutes as a "real" job? Do you really see someone going from a nearly 40 year career in the wrestling business (in and out of the ring) to...an accountant? A roofer?
Anyway, how is his life choice affecting you? I mean, it clearly is, seeing as you have so much passion in what you're saying. Maybe he's waking you up at the crack of dawn with a "Wake up brother! I've got midgets to train and we need your room!...and girlfriend". I can see the personal issue then. I'd understand all the !?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!'s and CAPS LOCK in an attempt to make your words appear more meaningful.
but man you come off like an arrogant douche with the way you say it....and as you can see, it was infectious.
There's something really sad about someone so passionately and obnoxiously carrying on about that "old pathetic man". He makes money being pathetic, you bitch on the internet about it. Guess who wins.
You didn't find out it was staged until you were 15? What are you now, 16?...."Just askin'".
Ummmmmm (and why do pricks always throw that in?).
Do you realise that you keep repeating basically the same comment over and over in this thread? Your point has been made. Some of it was agreeable but it was lost in your arrogance. It's time for you to grow up and move on. Just sayi- Ah, you know.
This thread has gone off its rails and into the mountain.

Anyway, most fans watch it as a show. Not as a sport, not as atheltes. It seems like you're still bitter, trying to get over finding out it was staged.
