Well, there was a little hope for this, but obvioulsy, the NATO still considers Russia as too much of a threat.

Strangely enough, those warheads are owned by the USA, but would be deliverd by german pilots. Talk about outsourcing.

So Cold War still ain't really over, or is it?

Maybe the eastern european countries should be out of the NATO and form a neutral organisation, kind of a buffer between two over-nervous neighbours :dunno:

I don't think the US considers Russia a threat at all. They just want to make it a threat by pointing nukes at it which it makes it more erratic and paranoid and unstable.


The US has to keep the fear alive- without any external threats the people might turn on the government.

The world wars era is over, war on th 21th cenury are civil wars, guerrilla type wars. The US should improve their skills in this type of conflicts instead of keeping being ready for large scales wars.

Uh the Luftwaffe can only use them by order of the President. Until that time they sit guarded in a separate part of the airbase.
