The Pathetic Mob and Team Tart has stuck by me through thick and thin. When I said not to vote, as in the words of others "I was a wasted vote" they carried on regardless. I agree with what you say but it is two sided. Team Tart / The Pathetic mob and I share a deep bond that goes way beyond the short term. I owe my success on here to the small but expanding band of loyal friends who have stood up and looked after me, even when it was hopeless.
Now it is certainly not hopeless, I hope that they are enjoying their achievements as much as I am.
I have just looked at my Sybian thank you list, put together by my friend Who??? and I can tell you, I am going to be riding for twice the last time. Should I order it alphabetically or by vote weight?

Honestly you guys I have encouraged many of my porn girlfriends to post on this board and the consensus amongst most of them is something like "I tried but the abuse I received chased me away. If I'm doing it for free, I'm going to do it for fun, and getting picked on and picked apart isn't my idea of fun. It's not worth my time."

I must have been very fortunate but I have never really had any serious abuse or attacks on here.
I do try and keep out of an online argument though so maybe that has helped!
If the place wasn't fun, I wouldn't be here. So far, for the vast majority of the time, I have had a ball.

I can say this.. I have been a regular at 5 or 6 different forums over the years, and FO is my second favorite. I have received love and hate on here, rude and assuming emails, people propositioning me for sex or insulting my body, but I have also met some models who are super cool chicks, and even became friends, and have made some really deep online friendships with a couple of fans I've known on here for years..so it's a balance. The abuse and negativity on here isn't half as bad as the other forums I've been on.. ADT, Twistys, and a webmaster forum called GFY all come to mind.. no thank you!
Obv if I didn't think it was fun I wouldn't be coming here, either, although I do take breaks.. I went a few months this year not visiting.. but I always come back

It seems no matter what there are always going to be a few jerks (if not more) that ruin it, and as you said there are places even much worse than this. Unfortunately it seems the Internet has a way of bringing out the jerk inside of people. All I can hope for is that the nice people on here can overcome the atmosphere of the jerks and make it overall a decent place.

Oh my god, yes! I thought I was the only one who had terrible negative experiences over on GFY. I posted there on a thread years ago that someone else started about me, just to be attacked by a bunch of webmasters who wouldn't let a girl explain for herself. My site had just recently been launched so I was brand spanking new. Due to how bad it was, I haven't gone back since. It's assholes like that who chase girls away.
Newbies need love too, whether on here, another forum, in your personal circle of friends, wherever. Everyone deserves a chance.

I'm no knight in shining armor, but I do wield a very terrible Internet Troll sword that has some clout. If they would come back, I would hopefully ensure along with the current mods (within reason of course that they aren't feeding the bad trolls) that the abuse would cease to be and the fun could continue. I'm like Gunnery Seargent Hartman from Full Metal Jacket, I'm hard but I'm fair. Everyone is equally repulsive to my eyes. Lol. I was known in my mod time here to lay the hammer on an OCSM or two when they got out of line.
Like you said, the give and take is best here. I'm also a member over at Adult DVD Talk which has a lot of great interaction, too. The tolerance for bullshit there is 0, too. I've been other places where "troll" doesn't even come to mind - more like "bitch" and "fuckstick" but that's just my vocabulary.

I have been protected on FreeOnes. The very few times there have been a problem, someone has stood up to defend me.
I actually created my own forum with help from some members of TT, after attacks on other forums. I post on quite a few but nothing like I do on here.
Obviously I get the emails etc that have been mentioned but hey, it is the porn industry and it attracts all sorts, if someone asks if I escort etc is not offensive, just a question, which I answer. I have to say that the vast majority of contact has been respectful, complimentary,funny, kind, witty and thoroughly enjoyable.
I have made a huge number of friends and only a very few enemies, in fact so few and insignificant that they barely warrant a mention.

All but two of my final seven picks for the final round (one in each category) were OCSMs ranked in the top 20 of Wolverine's list. One of the two was a relatively inactive OCSM, but still one who thanked me for my votes.
As for Aaliyah Love's comments regarding on negativity here...well, there are classless jerks and persons who completely lack social skills on any large forum. For the most part, they're easy enough to avoid and ignore.

I feel like things gave gotten much better since the crack down of trolls, seems to be much less drama to me. There are some members that were so awful and I'm glad they are gone.
I was part of the ban hammer initiative that the Queen Mother enacted here. I was a solider on the ground for the good side. I'm glad to say that the current crop of mods do a great job. I wish my time afforded to me were much greater and I would gladly step up to help again. Most of those folks were here to 1. argue 2. just hate for hate's sake 3. lack any sort of real social skills and needed a good lesson learned. Things will continue to be this way as long as the good members and OCSMs outweigh the bad, report trouble when it happens, or the mod team continues to put out fires before they start.

The general consensus on that website is "lets spend all day discussing the very porn girls we are making money off of, but if one dares stop by and interact with us, we will call her horrible names and tear her down until she leaves" and I HUNG OUT with these dudes for years, Back in the day I would atend 6 or 7 webmaster conventions and it was all gyf guys.. they KNEW me, had drinks with me, flirted with me, etc.. and still treated me like SHIT. I don't understand internet "bro clubs" ..all I can think of is these guys have major anger issues towards women, so when they get an actual woman attempting to interact with them, they take it out on her. Unfortunately, I think that is an occupational hazard. Porn consumers expect everything in return for their $30 a month they spend on your website or for the $50 a month they spend illegally downloading the content on the web. I believe its why many of the performers of the past have started their own websites and gone into camming. Production values have gone way down because they lose so much money to illegal streaming and such. As someone has already said, you aren't a true fan unless you pay up. If you don't pay up, your a thief. Many don't see themselves as thieves when it comes to porn because they feel like they are stealing from irreputable people (aka sex workers, porn stars). They feel they can hide behind the social stigma that porn performers don't deserve money because they make a living fucking people for money on film. When in reality, porn is not an easy job...and it's just that, a job. A woman's body and her time are her money. People don't get that. It's what makes them feel good for trolling all the porn ladies on the Internet. It is, as you said, a woman-hating problem. Women who are intelligent and who are boldly open about their sex life are a threat to them and their "dick club." Which is why I don't have a problem telling said "bros" to go buy a 30pk of Natty Light, rent an Xbox game, and find a large double ended dildo to go fuck themselves with when they show up here or on any porn forum. The funny thing is, they still think they "own" performers when they get a boob job, shave their bush, quit the business, do anal all to their dislike. Well, it's your body ladies - do what you want. You can have an opinion about a performer's career or have differing tastes, but it's not anyone's job to go around telling people what to do or how to do it. Porn isn't a goddamned democracy.
Anyway, my intention of these type of posts is to show the readers and the lurkers who actually shows up here. Nothing more, nothing less. Whether that showing up on the boards is someone pasting a bunch of links to their shit or having some web nerd do that for them is not within my time limit to research. Nor do I really care. The board members here can usually discern who's doing what. I just crunch numbers for fun.
