notifications when posts are edited or deleted or merged etc...

I just noticed that one of my posts was edited, and i am confused as to why it was done

is it possible for members to be notified every single time that one of there posts is deleted or edited or merged etc...


this would be helpful to me and to the mods, because i dont want to have to pm the person that edits, merges, deletes etc my post every time they do something to it

Currently that's not possible, and we're not going to add any new features to this version of the board. When the new version is released, PM me to remind me and I'll see if there's a plugin available that will do this.

I submit a lot of threads to be merged. Sometimes, I ask king1919 to make a post in the newly merged thread that it was merged, so notifications can be sent. Petra could ask him to do it on all merges, but I'm not thrilled about that idea.

We're almost into October...

I hope the new version will make it easier for you guys to add smilies. I've got about 5 or 6 that I'd like to see added.

Process for adding smilies is the same on the new board. Oh, and I've been asked not to add anymore until we go to the new version.

As for when, it's looking like mid to late October now. There were some circumstances out of our control, like actually getting the new hardware in our grubby little hands.

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to **** smileys unless you uncheck the "turn off all images" option.

I looked, and in past versions of the board people had made plugins for it, but nothing for v4.x
