Just wondering what you guys think is Reznor's best work? Personally I only have the Fragile but it's a masterpiece, and I have heard most of both With Teeth and Year Zero and love pretty much all I have heard. And then I have heard quite a bit of Downward Spiral. Hurt is brilliant. Personally I think Fragile is his most perfect work. :hatsoff:

Reznor is an incredible composer, but for some reason I never got into em. Maybe it's because back when he was active I was into the heavier stuff.

Can't remember the name, But that tune on the Crow soundtrack was some pretty powerful ****.

He is one of the most influential composers of our time. He was trained in classical piano which is why his music is so melodic, yet so heavy and dark. I'm not a huge fan but a fan nonetheless.

I would say Downward Spiral, but it can't really be considered his best work because Cash made a better version of what is probably the best song on the album and I find the rest of it to be really rocky; some songs I love, and others I am meh over. With Teeth is his most balanced work in my opinion, I love every song on that album.

i like his entire body of work but there's something particular i like about the broken (ep) i don't know if it's his masterpiece but it's short, heavy, and full of excellent verbal imagery

man i just got With Teeth (again, my 1st copy broke )
and i remember why i liked it so much, it really had an effect on me when i first had it
Dave Grohl's drumming on it is fantastic

if i had to pick one song though, i wouldn't. it's hard as hell when some are conceptual

Indeed. It's a beautiful album. Those pussies at Rolling Stone only gave it 4 stars. I still remember that review.

I think Great Beyond is my favorite on the album. :thumbsup:

Downward Spiral or Fragile - really tough decision though. Each album has been great in it's own right.

The Downward Spiral. It's just a brilliant fucking album, start to finish.
I've been listening since the first album, Pretty **** Machine, and every album since, but Downward Spiral is simply the best.
To be honest, I found it hard to get into anything he did after The Fragile.
...Oh, Broken is awesome too.
